Ichigo’s final battle continues. Yhwach’s Wandenreich continues to press the Soul Reapers to their limits as souls burn and blades clash in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3: The Conflict. We’ll see which side remains standing when this series continues sometime in October 2024.
Tite Kubo wrote and illustrated Bleach from August 7th, 2001, to August 22nd, 2016. Shueisha published all 74 volumes by that point. Studio Pierrot’s anime adaptation premiered on October 5th, 2004.
Three of our heroic Soul Reapers are as follows:
- Ichigo Kurosaki — Masakazu Morita (Auel Neider from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny). A brave young man who took up arms in defense of his family against the supernatural.
- Rukia Kuchiki — Fumiko Orikasa (Chun-Li in Street Fighter). Ichigo’s first Soul Reaper ally. Her powers allowed him to fulfill his destiny.
- Nanao Ise — Hitomi Nabatame (Nia Honjo from Date A Live). The co-lieutenant of the First Division and Captain Shunsui Kyoraku’s niece.
Studio Pierrot has maintained a home page, an Instagram page, a TikTok page, and a Twitter (X) page to promote Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. You can find more series information and the key visuals there. Take note of Ichigo’s new form and Orihime’s best outfit yet.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Rages On
Ichigo’s most dangerous enemies have yet to threaten all of creation. People thought the Soul Reapers had driven the Quincy to extinction many years prior, but this was false. Yhwach and his Wandenreich appeared without warning, launching a devastating attack on Soul Society and leaving a bloody trail as they departed.
The Soul Reapers dusted themselves off and traveled to Hueco Mundo to face their ancient enemies. Each Quincy proved mightier than the last, but our heroes never stayed down for long. Ichigo returned to the front lines with a better understanding of his true nature to turn the tides of battle. Even Yhwach must take him seriously now.
