A decade after its release, Yuzusoft’s Senren*Banka visual novel is getting an anime adaptation. The anime arrives next year!
Yuzusoft announced the adaptation at the Yuzusoft SONGFES2026, but revealed little information about the project. However, they did reveal that the visual novel’s main VAs will reprise their roles. Senren*Banka’s voice cast includes:
- Mikan Sato as Murasame
- Sawa Sawasawa as Lena Leichtenauer
- Sora Haruka as Yoshino Tomotake
- Yuka Kotori as Mako Hitachi

Senren*Banka Deets
Yuzusoft released the Senren*Banka visual novel (eroge) for Windows in July 2019. VN localizer NekoNyan adapted the game into English and released an all-ages version on Steam in February 2020 and later on Nintendo Switch in May 2022. Senren*Banka follows Arichi Masaomi, a dude who vacations in the remote mountain town of Hoori.
Hoori has many claims to fame — there’s good hiking, the town is scenic, and there are hot springs. Oh! There’s also Murasamenmaru, a divine blade that’s stuck in stone. And like any sword stuck in a stone, he who pulls it out can wield the power of Thor. Well, not quite. But you get bragging rights, or a fancy bandanna. However, no one knows what actually happens when you pull it out. And no one knows because Masaomi-kun broke the sword in two.
Due to his blunder, Masaomi-kun needs to make amends. But how can you price a divine sword? You can’t. Money won’t help you there. So he has to do the only rational thing and marry the town’s shrine maiden!
The Senren*Banka visual novel features artwork by Kobychi, Muririn, and Senji. Jun Seo, Ritsu Amamiya, and Touta wrote the story scenarios. Erika Kiduki adapted the visual novel into a two-tankobon manga. Monthly Comic Alive (Media Factory) serialized the manga between April 2016 and February 2017.
