A cute ninja girl doesn’t rescue an office worker every day. Yoma target a man with a warrior lineage, aiming to end his bloodline. A ninja girl appears and swears to defend him if he takes care of her. They strike a mutually beneficial deal because she’s a charming ninja girl, and he lacks fighting skills. We’ll see how they get along when NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dosei Hajimemashita (For Some Reason I Started Living with a NEET Kunoichi) premieres in January 2025.
Kotatsu and Yakitomato released the original NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dosei Hajimemashita manga series on January 25th, 2020. ASCII Media Works has since published three volumes in No. 9 Comic.
The cute kunoichi, her master, and her friend are as follows:
- Shizuri Ideura — Hinaki Yano (Kitasan Black in Uma Musume Pretty Derby). The kunoichi who protects Tsukasa whenever she isn’t lazing about his apartment.
- Tsukasa Atsumi — Shoya Ishige (Yusaku Fujiki in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS). A salaryman with a unique warrior’s lineage.
- Ayame Momochi — Fairouz Ai (Power from Chainsaw Man). A kunoichi from Shizuri’s village with an obsessive crush on Shizuri.

The Yoma-Slaying NEET Kunoichi
Tsukasa Atsumi’s quiet salaryman life comes to a crashing halt after a mysterious kunoichi saves him from falling steel beams crushing him. Shizuri Ideura is a peerless kunoichi who easily slays even the strongest yoma. Tsukasa’s unique lineage attracts the yoma. His ancestors were all mighty warriors, and the yoma wish to end this bloodline. She has sworn to protect Tsukasa from these beings. She only asks that he take care of her in return.
Shizuri takes to her hikikomori life with ease. She relishes lazing about, savoring Tsukasa’s home-cooked meals, and playing video games. Shizuri does all of this while protecting Tsukasa from yoma. Her quiet life becomes disturbed when her fellow kunoichi visit her for various reasons. Shizuri’s budding feelings for Tsukasa are another cause for concern. Kunoichi aren’t supposed to fall in love with their masters.
