We’re happy to have our latest JAST USA game, Eiyu*Senki – The World Conquest, out and into the hands of our happy customers. The staff over at JAST worked super hard on the game to prepare for its international release in English. They are especially proud of the art book for the Collector’s Edition, so I wanted to give you a sneak peek and show you how good it is.
Before working on the Eiyu*Senki, we had meetings with the artist, Oyari Ashito, who is quite a legend. He has made various doujin works, as well as his incredibly popular witch raising and magic strategy game Littlewitch Romanesque. Oyari-sensei’s art is so detailed and beautiful, we wanted to work extra hard and make the Eiyu*Senki release even more special to fans.
So JAST decided to make three versions of the game. One is the full version of the game, completely faithful to the original PC release with nothing removed, on DVD-ROM (Digital download via JAST USA’s website is also available). Then there’s a Limited Release, which includes a 2-CD soundtrack and awesome character art cards. Finally, the Collector’s Edition which adds a full English translation of the meticulously detailed Player’s Guide, a high quality art book distributed in Japan. In the game, you “conquer” the world with Himiko, the main heroine and ruler of Zipang (an alternate reality Japan). The other countries around you, China, Australia, Britannia, Europe, India, etc., are all ruled by beautiful “heroes” who are gender bent historical figures.
The art book is basically all the information you need to know about all the characters, and the land they rule. Their personalities, temperament, special abilities, etc., are all explained in the book with visually stunning illustrations!
