One of the freshest new ideas in ecchi anime to come along in years was Interspecies Reviewers (Ishozoku Reviewers). Happily lots of new products have been coming out from Japan, including the Limited Blu-ray Box with the first four episodes as well as lots of other good stuff for fans. Let’s take a look at everything included in the box!
The concept of Interspecies Reviewers follows a group of “adventurers” in a fantasy world, who go on a very different kind of adventure: to brothels, where they have sex with all manner of exotic monster girls, then write Amazon-style reviews about. The show was famously removed from Funimation and several Japanese TV stations for being sexier than the platforms were comfortable with.
And now the gorgeous Japanese collector’s Blu-ray has been released, with lots of great stuff for fans. Here’s what’s included in the set!
- the first four uncensored episodes on region-free Blu-ray in full quality (most releases only give you two episodes, so this is great)
- an original package with original illustration designed by character designer Makoto Unoma
- a 20-page comic and storyboard collection booklet
- the “non-credit” (textless) OP and ED in full 1080p quality
