Try Confessing in Science Fell in Love ❤️, Episode 8

Kotonoha and Kosuke wrestle with their feelings about love after the group date experiment.

Proof 8 – “Science-types Fell in Love, So They Tried Confessing Their Feelings to Their Juniors”

Hmm.

Science Fell in Love ❤️ gave us a much more psychologically themed episode. That was predictable because the longer data scientists research love, the more they will reference more subjective reports. We’re seeing fewer jokes about chemical levels and more about interview responses. Science Fell in Love drew me in with Ayame’s long, tights-covered legs and nerdy references to math and computer programming. We still have plenty of scenes of legs inside pantyhose. But now we have Rikekuma telling us to pause the program to read all the words written by psychologists. I’m not enjoying the shift.

I wonder what the reaction from the otaku crowd will be at the hard shots Science Fell in Love took at their social situations. Many fans of alternative entertainment (comic books, manga, anime, and gaming) initially started consuming these genres because they can be enjoyed individually. The stereotype of the antisocial loner otaku exists. There are anime fans who worry about missing out on “normal” love or appearing “normal.” Data scientists and math nerds were never going to be “normal” either, so Shinya’s rant and tough love was a dramatic moment. Shame and embarrassment are powerful social forces that motivate the outliers to stay inside the popular culture or push them further out. Science Fell in Love argues that we’re all weirdos in unique ways. We’d be happier to accept ourselves openly, and the normies would also happily accept that authenticity.

Heh.

Science Fell in Love ❤️ brings drama right away. Ayame and Shinya fight over continuing research on Kotonoha’s dating relationship. Aw. They fight, and then they cuddle. This is a remarkably mature relationship.

Kotonoha’s inner monologue. She compares herself to Ayame, who is a beautiful, brilliant scientist. But Ayame is a weirdo for romantic love, and according to Science Fell in Love ❤️, Kotonoha is in the same boat. Ayame noticed the change in Kotonoha’s mood.

Science Fell In Love, So I Tried To Prove It S2 Episode 8 Ena Gives Warning

Uh oh. Yamamoto the mangaka stalks Ena on Saitama University’s campus. Yamamoto had recently met up with high school friends, and she felt the difference in life and love experience. The Science Fell in Love artist is still the gloomy girl from high school, drawing manga instead of finding a man to marry. However, she doesn’t want to fix her “problems.” No, Yamamoto needs to raise the social acceptance of the 2D4Life crowd. Uh oh. Kosuke questions his life choices too. There’s the Science Fell in Love ❤️ theme of the day. Ena confirms that Kosuke is, yes, creepy. Ooh. Ena compared Kosuke’s 2D preferences to the Pride movement’s work on societal acceptance. Is there a scale of gradation between 3D and 2D love too? Kosuke found his research topic! Yamamoto found her next manga collaboration. Whoa, big news! Ena marked Kosuke as her territory. Step off, Yamamoto!

Science Fell In Love, So I Tried To Prove It S2 Episode 8 Ayame Embraces Kotonoha

Suddenly, Ayame told Kotonoha she loved her! Aw, not like that! Science Fell in Love ❤️ did not cover itself in yuri sauce today. We don’t need to bring in Rubin’s Love and Like Scales to talk about friendly feelings, do we? The Japanese language is notoriously confusing about the different words for like and love. 恋愛 (renai, passionate love) differs from 好意 (koui, favor or affection). Rikekuma says pause your video to read the details yourself. Kotonoha is confused. Does Ayame like her or love her? Ayame says it’s love because she said so! Clearly, Ayame is protective of Kotonoha. The love confession was Ayame’s way of asking permission to care for Kotonoha and ask how she was feeling. Alright! Science Fell in Love ❤️ did bring the yuri sauce! Shinya let the girls have their moment together. He looks concerned too, but there are gender differences at play with intimacy and personal questions. And then Shinya ruined the whole tender scene!

Here we go! How did Kotonoha’s crush on her high school math teacher end? Shinya wants the details of one whole Kanade Love Power. Ayame Pointer Smack! Kotonoha settled on studying math with Takahashi after he rejected her love confession. Takahashi went on a date with Kotonoha to reward her for scoring highly on a standardized test. Then Kotonoha flipped Takahashi on his back, breaking his shoulder. A traumatic experience for everyone involved, which is why Takahashi ran away from Kotonoha in the seventh episode of Science Fell in Love ❤️. He accidentally knocked her down during the group date. Kotonoha began to obsess about appearing “normal” because she felt weird about her martial arts background. No one in the Ikeda Lab is “normal.”

Oh, man. Shinya gives Kotonoha straight talk and tough love. Kotonoha admits she blends into the surroundings to avoid embarrassment. She does not look happy that she wants to live that way. Shinya would make an enigmatic yet sentimental father. There will be tension between Kotonoha and Shinya after this.

Next time, the science-types do fun college things.

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It r=1-sinθ (Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita. r=1-sinθ (Heart)) streams on Crunchyroll and VRV in Japanese audio and English subtitles.
