Halloween Cosplay Inception
Surprisingly, our favorite part about Halloween cosplay isn’t the variety of witches ready to brew us a love potion or curse us to be their loyal familiar. We most enjoy seeing our favorite characters reinterpreted through the holiday lens.
Some characters already fit the bill — like Seraph of the End’s Krul Tepes — but these talented cosplayers have taken ordinary fan-favorite characters and given them a spooky twist, showcasing their creativity and dedication to the craft!

“I’m a Mouse, Duh.”
There are very few chances adults get to dress up. Although we’re too old for fun-sized Snickers bars (gotta watch the waistline this time of year), Halloween is a perfectly acceptable time to let loose, have some fun, and enjoy the thrill of cosplay.
In the esteemed words of 2004’s Mean Girls, “Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it.” These cosplays are slightly more complex than Amanda Seyfried’s mouse ears, and definitely too risqué for your office’s after-hours Halloween party!

Original Halloween Cosplay
Halloween is the perfect time for professional cosplayers to try out some original outfits. Rather than chasing the latest trending character from anime or gaming, cosplayers can have fun with a general concept and still be on point! Original cosplays like these showcase their makers’ creativity and imagination, resulting in unique takes on fan-favorite tropes!
Combining the blood-sucking thrill of a sexy vampire with the terrifying reminder to get your blood checked, vampire nurses remain an evergreen Halloween favorite.
