Never Ask a Vampire Queen Her Age
The lore in Seraph of the End (or Owari no Seraph to use the Japanese title) is complicated, to say the very least. The anime adaptation ended its second season around volume 11 of the manga. There are currently 34 volumes, each increasingly convoluted, with thorny plans that stretch back millennia. The series expands to include the titular seraphim alongside vampires and demons and frequently jumps backward thousands — and eventually millions — of years to establish its backstory.
All of that is to say: don’t ask Krul how old she is! She’s fiery and proud and thinks of humans as nothing more than livestock for the vampires. Truly a ruthless Queen if we’ve ever seen one — and we know plenty of vampire girls!

Krul Tepes Cosplay: Happy Birthday, Queen of Japan!
Don’t get the wrong idea about Krul. Her strong-willed beliefs are the product of a vampire society riddled with politics and infighting. She’s an effective leader and shows both affection and sympathy to Mika after he refuses to drink human blood. Krul is calm and collected in battle, even when facing a much stronger foe, maintaining composure under pressure.
