Today’s series rankings come from the December 2017 issue of the popular Japanese monthly anime magazine, NewType. NewType Magazine is a monthly publication originating from Japan, covering anime and manga (and to a lesser extent, tokusatsu, Japanese science fiction and video games).
NewType Magazine sent out a survey to their readers in their November issue asking about their favorite male and female anime characters. They compiled all the answers in the December 2017 issue for their top 10 ranking of anime. Here they are:
