Thicc anime girls have always been a big selling point in anime. Regardless of what the series is about, whether it’s Agent Aika and the metric tons of fanservice, or an action series like Buso Renkin, if you put a cute girl on the cover, more people are likely to watch the series.
Continuing on the series that last saw us give appreciation for overpowered and genius anime girls, let’s take a lingering look at the truly thicc anime girls that make their respective series that much more enjoyable to watch.
1. Reisalin “Ryza” Stout (Atelier Ryza)
Ryza’s thicc thighs not only saved lives, they sold an entire trilogy. This powerful alchemist wore very short shorts and tight leggings, giving us a terrific zettai ryoiki (absolute territory). This all contrasts with her pure and innocent smile. Fans can see her in action in the upcoming Atelier Ryza anime series.

2. Monster Princess Do-S (One-Punch Man)
Do-S is a member of the Monster Association, and a threat to mankind. She’s as dangerous as she is sexy, and both her name and attire are appropriate for her. Do-S is a scantily-clad dominatrix monster with truly thicc anime girl proportions. She’s a perfect example of why people get into monster girls. She’s also a princess, and her powers work to enforce her will. Those struck with her spiked whip technique “Heart ♡ Hard ♡ Hit” are brought under her control for as long as she is conscious.
3. Yuna Eunice (The Legendary Hero Is Dead! / Yusha ga Shinda)
Yuna is the childhood friend and love interest of Touka Scott, the unlucky man who accidentally killed a legendary hero, and must now occupy the dead hero’s body to carry out his mission. Yuna would join Touka, even in battle, but her busty figure gets the better of her, and she has lost her clothes at least once, revealing the true ultimate power in the universe. Thicc lives can truly save lives, even when the hero himself is dead.
4. Super Pochaco (Super Sonico)
An even thiccer anime girl version of the series titular character Sonico, who was also designed by Tsuji Santa. Pochaco is a gravure idol like Sonico, but she has far more curves to enjoy, and she seems to love putting them on full display.

5. Galko (Please Tell Me! Galko-chan / Oshiete! Gyaruko-chan)
The thicc titular gyaru of Please Tell Me! Galko-chan. Despite her name and appearance, Galko has no experience in love, romance, and especially sex, and she becomes flustered whenever the topic is brought up, or she says or does something suggestive. She has an older sister who tends to use her school uniform for elicit activities with her boyfriend and that always bugs Galko to no end.
6. Toru Hagakure (My Hero Academia)
The biggest plot twist of My Hero Academia is that Toru Hagakure, the invisible girl, is secretly a thicc anime girl. We were only given outlines of her figure whenever she wore clothes, but a manga cover showed her visible appearance, and she is thicc. She might be a villain for hiding her true form for this long. Regardless, this once again proves that thicc thighs do truly save lives.
She goes out into battle with only gloves and boots, and nothing else, which tells me that she also uses her natural invisibly to indulge her exhibitionist kinks. That’s not canon, but you can’t prove otherwise.
7. Nozomi Tojo (Love Live!)
Nozomi is an idol and member of lily white, which is a sub-unit under μ’s (Muse). She is kind, gentle, and wise when it comes to her fellow students and idols. It’s not officially confirmed, but one could imagine that her figure has helped her along her path as an idol.
8. Hana Uzaki (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! / Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!)
The titular main character and her sugoi dekai set the world ablaze from the first episode. Her thicc figure turned many a head in the series, and we soon learn that her mother has an equally thicc anime girl figure. It’ll likely be the same for any other woman in her family. That Shinichi Sakurai didn’t make a move early in the series when he saw just how busty she was is a testament to his iron will, and I respect him for it.
9. Ikumi Mito (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma / Shokugeki no Soma)
A woman who can make masterful dishes is someone to marry right away. A thicc anime girl who can cook like the masters needs to be made a waifu within an episode or chapter. If Soma hasn’t married her by the end, he fails at life. The artist behind the series is Shun Saeki, also known as the adult artist Tosh, so it’s little wonder why the girls are so thicc. It must be why Ikumi is fine cooking hot food in only a bikini top and shorts, because Tosh never forgot his roots, and we respect him for it.
10. Rias Gremory (High School DxD)
A thicc demon anime girl who not only dresses in ways to provoke a reaction from her beloved, but she is incredibly powerful, and no one can stop her from dressing down as much as she wants. She is as powerful as she is sexy, and that is definitely an overpowered trait. If that’s not enough, she is completely fine with the harem anime protagonist, Issei Hyoudou, going for the harem ending.
11. Nico Robin (One Piece)
The mangaka Eiichiro Oda is a true man of culture because he is fond of showing off his girls. He gave his full blessing to fellow cultured artists to make fan art of his girls too. As such, Nico Robin, a girl sporting a J-Cup bust, wears revealing clothes whenever possible, as seen above with her Beasts Pirates costume. Robin is as smart and powerful as she is sexy, gifted with a keen intellect as an archaeologist, and the power of the Hana Hana no Mi.
12. Irina Jelavić (Assassination Classroom)
Irina Jelavić, also known as Bitch-sensei by Class 3-E, is a Serbian assassin sent by the Japanese government to eliminate Korosensei. She is an incredibly talented assassin with a thicc anime girl figure that she uses to seduce her targets. To aid this, she wears form-fitting outfits, such as short skirts and shirts that show off some cleavage, and she acts in a provocative manner to lure her targets to their ends. Beneath her cold and ruthless exterior is a warm and gentle person that her class warms to. She’s still an assassin, but she’s a beloved teacher as well.
