Oniisan gets better sleep because his noisy neighbors undergo a life-changing event. Aichan meets her new neighbors.
Part 6
Hmm.
One charm of Kiseki Himura’s weekly Tawawa on Monday series of Twitter illustrations is how the busty characters connect to each other. They all appear to live near each other, use the same public transportation, and visit the same shops with Tawawa branding. We can see fun easter eggs when recurring characters show up in the backgrounds of the featured girls of the week. In Tawawa on Monday Two, the focus on three women makes the relations and cameo appearances much more blatant and entertaining.
Oniisan had trouble explaining to Aichan what kinds of noises his amorous neighbors make late at night. He didn’t want the high school girl complaining to them either because her pure mind might become polluted with impure thoughts. Oniisan is playing the long game as Bangs-chan and Sensei did. He doesn’t need to wait as much as Sensei did, but he also gets to see Aichan outside of school. The social stigma of an older office worker escorting a high school senior girl is smaller than the stigma of a teacher meeting a student.
The intersection of the three starring couples of Tawawa on Monday also marked a momentous occasion for Bangs-chan and Sensei. Until he proposed marriage to her, those two were “shacking up.” Now that they’re engaged, they’re merely “living in sin.” Marriage arrangements in anime often show how easy it is to register a marriage certificate. So, when Sensei and Bangs-chan became Aichan’s new neighbors, Sensei could have “made an honest woman” out of Bangs-chan. I hope that’s the case, just to keep Aichan and Imouto’s purity intact. Their mother will need to explain what those late-night noises are about, though.
Heh.
Bodyguard duty for Oniisan. Aichan likes studying his face. Oniisan has been getting more sleep recently. Oh? Did the noisy neighbors stop making noise? Ah! The title card of Bangs-chan matches a Getsuyoubi no Tawawa art piece. It showed Sensei taking advantage of her napping on the sofa. Will we see the big day happen this week?
Sensei is sick. But he can’t let Bangs-chan call the school for him! Their secret relationship status annoys her. As it should. Bangs-chan wants to take care of Sensei. What’s he so reluctant for? A beautiful woman mothering a man is living the dream. Oh, he’s feeling better now. Bangs-chan dozed off at his side. That’s dedication. Why is he looking at her fingers? Aha! He’s trying to measure her ring finger! He’ll get another chance, as the Tawawa on Monday title card showed us.
Fun. Kouhai-chan and Senpai saw Sensei picking out a ring! What a small world for the Tawawa couples. Senpai hopes that scene doesn’t give Kouhai-chan any ideas. She’s already coming over to his place so much that rumors are flying, and his colleagues are jealous. Kouhai-chan is also comfortable enough to show him her sleeping face. She’s a drooler.
Here we go, here we go! It’s hilarious how Sensei’s voice doesn’t say words, but we do hear grunts and reactions. It’s okay, Bangs-chan. The Tawawa on Monday studio also missed recording his proposal, so we’re all in the same boat. We came a long way to hear Oniisan explain that his neighbors moved out. Who moved in? Haha! Those noisy neighbors are Aichan’s problem now. She and Imouto will see “interesting things” in the morning from now on.
Illustrator Bonnie drew Aichan and Kouhai-chan in the end card.
