Tawawa on Monday Two, Episode 5: Ai-chan and Milk Jugs

Oniisan and Aichan take a day trip to the Tawawa Farm. Milk-related products and shapes make Aichan jealous.

Hmm.

I appreciate how the writing in Tawawa on Monday Two works as an anime adaptation. The show concentrates on three main characters, Aichan, Bangs-chan, and Kouhai-chan. But the weekly illustrations for Getsuyoubi no Tawawa have many more recurring characters. I hope to see them animated in future seasons of Tawawa on Monday. However, Kiseki Himura also creates fun one-off characters to match a particular setting.

In the first season of Tawawa on Monday, the anime shorts devoted episodes to the lovely women we would meet at Tawawa Gym, Tawawa Dental Clinic, or at Tawawa Convenience Store. The second season does a better job of incorporating this kind of character into a narrative structure to fit the setting. We saw this start to happen during Kouhai-chan’s business trip. Tawawa Airlines needed to put the flight attendant’s flotation devices in front of Senpai’s face.

Cow Girl featured several times on Himura’s weekly Tawawa series. I found the Tawawa Filling Station attendant only once. Tawawa on Monday found a way to put them both into Aichan’s date with Oniisan in an organic way. I just stuck Aichan’s “Booba” maneuver because I felt nostalgic seeing that viral craze again. We don’t get much “Booba” these days. If a Hololive character did that on a stream, would we get another explosion of “Booba” fan art? Perhaps Tawawa on Monday Two can make that happen!

Alright, alright, alright! Oniisan and Aichan are on a date! It’s a day trip to the Tawawa Farm. It’s a dairy farm, so we should see more milk jugs than usual for this show. Ha! Do you remember when the Boba Challenge was a thing? Aichan is well-qualified for “Booba.” Nice. Tawawa on Monday satisfies that strap cleavage fetish. Aichan claims that seatbelts don’t get along with her. The safety belt is just hugging her close. That’s all. Har. Oniisan hasn’t been getting much sleep because of his noisy neighbors. Bangs-chan demonstrates her affection for Sensei in late-night high-decibel ways. There’s Tawawa Farm. Bring on the dairy farm girl jokes!

Man, that Aichan girl churns my butter. I don’t even have to nudge or wink at you… Yay! There’s Cow Girl. I love how the Tawawa on Monday illustrations made it clear that the cows think Cow Girl is their sister. The sheep want whatever Aichan is packing in her pockets. That’s why Oniisan is her bodyguard. Even farm animals turn into gropers around Aichan.

Oh, fun! Tawawa on Monday brought in the Tawawa Filling Station attendant for the drive back home. She must be doubly efficient at wiping windshields with her pair of, uh, cleaning accessories. Aichan didn’t like the competition for Oniisan’s attention during their day trip. He should pay exclusive attention to her milkshakes!

Kaedeko, known for the weekly Gaki Kyonyuu series, illustrated the end card this week. You can see the big-breasted twin-tailed character as Aichan’s bag strap!
