We cultured otaku often praise girls with pink hair, red hair, black hair, and so on. The most popular hair colors in anime. Girls with blue hair also get their share of love, but there are far too few girls with green hair. Let’s appreciate some of the magical emerald maidens we do have.
1. Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck (True Form) (Bleach)
We’ll start with the most dangerous green-haired anime girl. There are many reasons why Nelliel is dangerous: her sheer raw power and busty figure. She first appears as a child but reveals her adult form with longer green hair in times of need. Tite Kubo revealed in an interview that Nel Tu is likely one of the top thicc Bleach anime girls.

2. C.C. (Code Geass)
C.C. is an immortal who can bestow the power of Geass onto others. She has lived a difficult life that caused her to wish for an end of sorts. She’s an immortal who kept her flowing green hair for centuries. It’s one of her charming points, besides her cute clothes. C.C. is willing to defy death to see her new wish come true.

3. Palutena (Kid Icarus)
Palutena is the goddess of light and ruler of Angel Land. She is a benevolent and beautiful deity with green hair full of life. Palutena aids Pit as he fights Medusa’s forces of darkness.
Toru Osawa, Yoshio Sakamoto, Satoru Okada, and Gunpei Yokoi created the original Kid Icarus as part of Nintendo’s Research & Development 1 on December 19th, 1986, for the Famicom Disk System. Shaft Animation Studio released the anime Palutena’s Revolting Dinner to promote Kid Icarus: Uprising on March 19th, 2012.
4. Tatsumaki & Fubuki (One-Punch Man)
Tatsumaki and Fubuki are sisters with different shades of green hair. The Tornado of Terror Tatsumaki might be shorter and have a less mature figure. But she’s the older and much more powerful sister. They each have their own charms outside of their green locks.

One first released his original webcomic sometime in 2009. Shueisha picked up the rights and attached the famed artist Yusuke Murata to illustrate the manga iteration. This run began on June 14th, 2012. Tonari no Young Jump later published 29 volumes. Madhouse began airing the anime adaptation on October 5th, 2015.
5. Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers)
Morrigan is an immensely powerful succubus and the ruler of Makai. But Morrigan would prefer to pursue her own enjoyment in the human world. She is still a competent fighter with a sense of duty to fight the forces of evil. Whether in human or succubus form, Morrigan retains her regal green hair.
Capcom released Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors in arcades on July 12th, 1994. The game’s port came to consoles on March 22nd, 1996. Studio Madhouse’s Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge OVA premiered on March 21st, 1997.
