Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun, Episode 12 [END] — Bust Up Those Cups!

The vice principal sets a topless trap for Kouyou, and he teaches dormmates DIY size-ups.

Episode 12 — “Kotesashi-kun’s Bust Enhancement Massage Course”

Hmm.

Can simple or “lazy” character designs serve a higher purpose? The faces in Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun look the same with barely any variation, so I stopped kicking myself after the M. Night Shyamalan-level shock that the first victim, er, supporting cast member that Kouyou laid hands on was Vice Principal Shiraoka. Her character also serves a secondary purpose beyond the callback twist to the season’s opening minutes.

Have you wondered why promising star athletes reside in a dorm notorious for driving out the dorm mother? Those students need the most stable and supportive home possible to focus on schoolwork and athletics.

But after Kouyou earned a reputation as a helpful sports trainer, Vice Principal Shiraoka repeatedly tried to bait him into sexually harassing her. Does Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun hide a darker subplot? Is she sabotaging the Momiji Manor students? To what end? So now she thinks catching Kouyou in sexual misconduct will put her plan back on track?

Her attempts revealed that Kouyou had turned off his sexual switch to treat patients in any state of undress without causing inappropriate situations. Two observations. First, Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun contradicted this news earlier in the season when Aoba threw her panties at him. He claimed that Aoba almost “affected” him. Second, an adult woman has joined a high school girl in accepting the challenge to fly a flag up Kouyou’s pole. Could girls his own age be the variables for flipping Kouyou’s switch? Hags need not apply!

Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun’s second season will kick off with a bang (or banging!) in an Okinawa beach trip arc. If it gets one. The likely scenario would be the Blu-rays offering OVA episodes.

Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun Makes Me Say Heh.

Uh oh! No jealous love triangle games in front of the school gate. So declares the vice principal. Worse, she ordered Kouyou to meet her after school in an auxiliary building. Some h-doujins start like this. Such ominous music! Have fun, Kouyou-chin! “Are you trying to seduce me, Ms. Vice Principal?” says any scene with crossed legs in pantyhose.

Kouyou has become famous (or infamous for Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun) among the female students, and the vice principal must find out why. It can’t be just his magic hands. Hey! This is an h-doujin scenario! She locked the abandoned classroom door! Here. Breasts right in your face. Honking hooters like those would give any woman sore shoulders. Har. The vice principal’s mommy milkers failed to impress Kouyou. And she could’ve kept her blouse on.

The vice principal obsesses over Kouyou’s “depravity.” Why?

Kouyou Is Here to Bust You Up in Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun

Dinnertime at Momiji Manor. Aoba doesn’t have much of an appetite, which leads to accusations of scrawniness and projection. Aroma claims Kouyou’s workouts are filling her out! Uh-huh. No one fills out their sweaters as well as Miyuki’s puppies, though. Oh, now they’re worried about how they’ll look in swimsuits if Kouyou joins them in Okinawa. Chiyo jokes that the massage expert should have the skills to grow their boobs to the size of Miyuki’s. Oh, he can. What!? He can!

Ah, Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun. Kouyou will teach the girls the techniques for the bust-up massage while wearing a blindfold. New kink confirmed! Oh no. Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun packed in all the fanservice today, though the beach scenes are a total tease. Second season, when? Or will the Okinawa trip only be a couple of episodes as Blu-ray specials?

Final Thoughts on Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun.

The sports trainer and massage table are the perfect vehicles for exploring fanservice scenarios and fetishes. Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun fused naked quivering bodies with the dorm mother premise, granting free access to nubile women. The anime delivered on massages acting as proxies for mind-blowing sex and screaming orgasms.

However, I wish we saw more of the dorm life situations. Only the first episode provided the classic lucky lecher moment of walking in on someone in a bath changing room.

I also appreciated how Kouyou emphasized in Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun that sports trainers should act ethically with members of the opposite sex. The Larry Nassar scandal at USA Gymnastics, operating with impunity for decades, exposes how vulnerable women are to criminal predators. Should we buy Kouyou’s claims that he has no sex drive? I see it as a comedic device to pit competitive women against Kouyou’s self-control.

Like other sports procedurals, Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun leaned heavily on a stream of words playing over sexy bare skin. You gotta have something as background noise to justify watching ecchi material! Great job.

Overall, I loved how the comedy flowed from the girls’ character development. The jealous reactions from Aoba and Aroma toward the season’s end stood out. One personal preference: more scenes with Izumi collecting research materials for her romance writing. Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun has the potential to connect massage oil and more otaku-related scenarios.
