Episode 13 — “Muffin Top Island”
Plus-Sized Elf Makes Me Go Heh.
The Japanese title for the Blu-ray special episode is ハミ肉の島 (hami niku no shima), which literally means “exposed meat island.” It’s not just about the pudge spilling over tight fabric. You can use ハミパン (hamipan) as slang for exposing your underwear out of your shorts, so “haminiku” does some heavy lifting for generating puns. Plus-Sized Elf goes for the gusto with exploding bikini tops and burned-up swimsuits. Sexy flesh bursts out of everywhere!
Deserted Island, Not Dessert Island!
Naoe’s boss has connections. She scored a private island with a cabana and a dock. It’s time to sexually harass her employee and offer her best customers a day trip of sun, surf, sand, and exposed skin. Plus-Sized Elf supplies all the beach episode scenes we want! And the foreshadowing starts early — a giant squid swims around the island.
The monster girls even kidnapped Satero from her burger joint job so they could keep an eye on her. Such a pure, pure heart on that Satyr. She couldn’t handle Naoe’s “big” package! Aw. Kuroeda could have fit through that inflatable. All the character trait running jokes made it into the Plus-Sized Elf Blu-ray special. Oga still treats Kobo like a child and still picks fights with Hitome about it. The cyclops likes fighting, so that’s good for them both. Ack! Raika is supposed to be a wolf, but she’ll stick anything in her mouth like a dog. Har. Mero the Mermaid can’t swim. And neither can Honeda!
Thank you, Plus-Sized Elf, for making up for the lack of Akiho fanservice during the season. Of course. We can’t have an episode with an osteopath without something healthy. Paddleboarding uses your whole body, you know. Hahaha! The Kraken has delusions of grandeur. She considers pranking the monster girls will “defeat” them. Uh oh. Raika found the squid tentacle. She had no worries about digging herself out of a hole, but her friends didn’t have the skills. Sabotaging monokinis and pulling dragon tails are such small potatoes. So, Ms. Kraken will leave the sumo wrestling titans alone.
Grilled Jumbo Calamari for Plus-Sized Elf
Barbecue time! Except Akiho fell asleep drunk and didn’t prep the ingredients. That’s never a problem for Elfuda in Plus-Sized Elf: She has french fries! Ah. Satero claims to know how to chop everything up, but disaster strikes! The Kraken’s nips snip busts her out of her monokini! It’s time for the Empress of the Sea to attack the landlubbers! What the… how did the Kraken come to the human world? Does she have a humanoid form like the Dragon Lady? The titans and Ooeda are up for a fight! Oh no. It’s a stalemate until Gonda gets angry because the Kraken pulled on her tail. And everyone’s naked. Akiho’s swimsuits can’t withstand tentacle pricks and dragon fire.
Epilogue time for Plus-Sized Elf. Nice sunset. The ones who didn’t fight still have their swimsuits, except Akiho. Expose that meat! Funny. The Kraken’s voice, Junko Takeuchi, belongs to Naruto Uzumaki. We have one more Blu-ray special episode left! Its title is “Calorie Lovers.” Will romance bloom for one of the monster girls?
Plus-Sized Elf (Elf-san wa Yaserarenai.) streams uncensored on Hidive in Japanese audio and English subtitles.
