On J-List Blog’s cosplay column, we have a patron saint—the gorgeous queen of lewd cosplay, Marin Kitagawa! She’s a charming gyaru who’s shamelessly addicted to eroge (erotic) visual novels, and she loves humiliation cosplay. This helps make her one of the Best Girls of every otaku’s dreams.
The second season of My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi o Suru) is hitting our television screens sometime in July 2025. This week, we were treated to the My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 OP Reveal trailer, which features Marin in a bunny-girl costume!
As we wait for Season 2, the J-List Blog is going meta with the sexiest cosplays of Marin Kitagawa’s in-universe looks. If that sentence makes your head spin, you’re not alone; sit back and enjoy these gorgeous cosplayers making Marin proud!
Marin Kitagawa’s First Cosplay: Shizuku Kuroe
One of the first cosplays in My Dress-Up Darling introduces Marin Kitagawa to the show’s protagonist, hina doll maker Wakana Gojo. After her failed attempt at this ridiculously complex cosplay, Marin enlists Wakana’s help to cosplay the goth-inspired maid Shizuku Kuroe.
Shizuku is from a (sadly) fictional game with the delightful title of Saint Slippery’s Academy for Girls — The Young Ladies of the Humiliation Club: Debauched Miracle Life 2. Thankfully, if you want to play a real eroge game, J-List has you covered with a broad range of English-language erotic visual novels!

Magical Girl Cosplay with Black Lobelia
The second cosplay from Marin Kitagawa is Black Lobelia, the primary antagonist from the fictional magical girl anime Flower Princess Blaze. Along with Marin, the adorable Sajuna Inui and her buxom younger sister, Shinju, cosplay different characters from the show.
The customizable Marin Kitagawa Nendoroid Figure is available now from the J-List store, featuring a Slippery Girls T-Shirt, if you’d like your personal dress-up doll!

Beach Episode with Marin Kitagawa!
Can you even say you’re watching a romantic comedy without a beach episode? The eighth episode of Season 1 doesn’t have a character cosplay. Nevertheless, bikini and swimsuit outfits remain fan-favorites year-round, and Marin looks charming in her bathing suit. It only makes sense that we feature cosplayers showcasing Marin and her all-natural beauty, including her delightful butt and boobs!

Marin Kitagawa, the Perfect Succubus?
Perhaps Marin’s most recognizable cosplay, Liz-kyun, is a succubus featured in the fictional SuccuIDK manga. She’s everything a devil girl should be, with pointed ears and an alluring tail. Unexpectedly, the photoshoot for Liz-kyun’s cosplay takes place at a love hotel. If you thought that was a recipe for disaster, it only got more awkward after Wakana and Marin end up on the bed together in a very compromising position!
Even if you don’t have your own succubus at home (and if you do, please leave your summoning ritual in the comments), J-List has the Marin Kitagawa Liz-kyun 1/6 Figure to satisfy all your demonic cravings!

Marin Kitagawa Schoolgirl Cosplay
Marin’s cosplays are undoubtedly iconic. Nevertheless, she’s still one of the most attractive gals in modern anime, with or without her lewd outfits. To round out our list of Marin Kitagawa cosplay, we’re paying homage to her cutest look of all—the cheeky, fun-loving schoolgirl of every otaku’s dreams!
