Makina-san a Love Bot?!, Episode 4 is an example of what top-tier fan service looks like. This episode aroused me constantly and made me laugh until my balls hurt. With its slice-of-life vibes, this was my favorite episode of the series (so far). Two days after watching it, I still find myself snickering at it.
But before I share my weekly horniness, allow me to share some advice — always keep a change of loose-fitting unisex clothes in your home. This may be an unnecessary expense, but if someone needs it, you gain massive points for having it. Luckily, Eita doesn’t believe in that, so he inadvertently treated us to some sexy sights.
Makina-san a Love Bot?!, Episode 4 — Slice-of-Life Vibes
I love it when anime takes a convoluted approach to something simple. And that’s what this episode did — it turned a simple task into something absurd.
With all the sexual playfulness of the past few episodes, it’s easy to forget that Makina-san’s home resembled post-9/11 Iraq. The kawaii love bot really did show up at Eita’s home with only the clothes on her back. But her lack of apparel had not yet caused any issues because she and Eita hadn’t left his apartment.
From blatant ecchi scenes to shenanigans in a park, Mamimi thought she was breaking up an assault; this episode had me in tears over how dumb it was. During Makina-san a Love Bot?!, Episode 4, I felt like I was watching a comedy iyashikei and applauded that. I adore shows like Hinako Note, NetoYome, and A Sister’s All You Need because of how they portray their sexual content. Unlike shows like Freezing or Hybrid x Heart, sexuality isn’t the main draw of the series. The comedy is. Makina-san a Love Bot?!, Episode 4 took that approach, and I’ll be in a fluffy mood all week because of it.
Usually, ecchi shows infuriate me with how characters act. But here, supporting characters have common sense. That’s invaluable for me. The anime perfectly executed Mamimi freaking out and charging in when she thought someone accosted Makina. People always think they can be a smooth hero. But they mostly panic and dumbly charge in, so kudos for stellar supporting characters.

An Embarrassed Makina-san Is a Kawaii Makina-san
Some say the pursuit of knowledge is the most noble of goals. According to these people, all information gained is necessary. I can’t tell you how knowing that AI sex bots go “hazukashii” when matters of rrrrrrrrrroooomance come up helps my life. But I can tell you it brings more joy to my life.
Besides this show, Mono, Zatsu Tabi, and Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray are my favorites of the season. Oguri Cap and Makina share the same VA for those who do not know — Tomoyo Takayanagi. Hearing how differently she approaches those two roles is fascinating. It would be easy for someone to think that different people voice these two characters. Tomoya always delivers a subdued, stoic performance with Oguri, but with Makina-san, it’s always full throttle. The way she voiced Makina’s embarrassment was perfect. I had to watch that scene multiple times; the voice acting enthralled me.

Horny Thoughts … Always Embrace Them
If you’re watching The Shiunji Family Children, remember Episode 1 and how Banri’s oppai jiggled like a Jell-O cup on a roller coaster. Now imagine that, but instead, it’s Makina’s ass … glorious, ain’t it? I can’t talk for anyone else, but seeing Makina’s tush wiggle like a pudding cup almost gave me a heart attack. Makina’s design has fascinated me ever since I first saw her. Her color palette reminds me of a sunset, and that’s an attractive quality for me. The more I see her hairstyle and wardrobe change, the deeper I fall for her. Luckily for me, we’re only 1/3 of the way through the show, so there’s lots more Makina to gush over.
A reminder for anyone waiting on the English dubbed version of this, it’s already available uncensored on OceanVeil. You can read about Makina-san a Love Bot?!’s English cast here.
