Magical Manga Girls that Need an Anime Adaptation

We love many exceptional anime girls, such as the thicc girls and even the adorable tsundere girls. However, we can’t ignore the lesser-known girls who haven’t yet seen an anime life. So today, we give some love to the magical manga girls who deserve an anime lifeline.

1. Sarah Coquebert (Oversized Sextet / Ishuzoku Kyoushoujo Sextet!)

Oversized Sextet is a manga series that clearly shows the creator’s particular fetish. Clearly, Amagaeru likes women of various extreme sizes having their way with comparatively regular-sized men. That’s the series premise, and our magical manga girls have some fun with their human leader. Touru Wynn joins an academy of all-female giants who hail from various races. One of the girls is his childhood friend, who used to be roughly his height back then. Nikka Kodovina is in the running for Best Girl, being the thicc ogre childhood friend, but nothing beats the tan tomboy.

Sarah Coquebert is a Hecatoncheires. She’s buff, has four arms, and is a highly skilled fighter. A veritable expert with a sword, she has teamed up with Touru to wield a fire blade. Sarah is aggressive and isn’t shy about taking off her shirt. She almost acts like a tsundere when it comes to Touru.

Oversized Sextet is currently being published to MAGCOMI.

2. Yukari (The Former Top 1’s Sub-Character Training Diary a Dedicated Player is Currently Conquering Another World! / Moto Sekai Ichi’i Subchara Ikusei Nikki: Hai Player, Isekai wo Kouryakuchuu!)

Yeah. That title earned it the Number 7 spot on a list of manga with long titles. The main character died and was reborn in the online world he obsessively played. Instead of his default avatar, Seven, which was hacked and deleted, one of 3000 lost, he took the form of his alt, Second. This is a series where the protagonist doesn’t waste time with petty drama and side-quests but obsessively levels himself and his party to perfection.

Yukari is the name he gave to a dark elf assassin who was arrested and branded as a slave. He showed her a trick to remove her slave status, but she remained as his dutiful maid and blacksmith. She’s exceptionally skilled and intelligent, with an equally sharp tongue. Yukari also romantically pursues Second, but he seems more interested in power and prestige.

3. Ririka Kirise (After School Bitchcraft / Houkago Bitchcraft)

The chemistry teacher Renji Fuyumi is secretly a sorcerer with perhaps ill intent. His experiment is interrupted by a gyaru named Ririka Kirise. She only meant to ask him some chemistry questions. However, she effortlessly broke through his barrier after she walked in on his work. Renji decided to take her on as his apprentice. She might look and sound like just another air-headed gyaru, but her potential might be greater than that.

After School Bitchcraft was published in Comic Alive in three volumes.

4. Nina Crystal (My Junior at the Company Was a Witch / Kaisha no Kouhai ga Mahoutsukai datta)

Ryohei Katayama, a kind and scholarly company chief, noticed that his junior used magic to complete her work. Nina Crystal was obviously a witch. She offered him anything to keep her secret. He gently refused at first and said he needed nothing. However, when his grandmother called him inquiring about a lover, he asked her to pose for the role. Nina immediately agreed.

5. Momona Ichikawa (The World of Moral Reversal / Chastity Reverse World / Teisou Gyakuten Sekai)

This is an adaptation of an adult manga, so the mangaka can sell it in regular stores. Despite that, there’s still plenty of fanservice. In a potential isekai incident, Momona Ichikawa wakes up in a hospital after treatment for an illness. She finds the world far different from what she remembers: women constantly lust after men, and men are shier and more reserved. The gender roles are almost wholly reversed in that women can find underwear in bargain bins, and men wear little clothing on billboards selling juice. Momona tries to bear each day by holding onto her morals from the world she remembers.

The World of Moral Reversal is being published in Comic Valkyrie.

6. Flora (Creepy Cat)

Creepy Cat is like if Tim Burton became a mangaka. Flora inherited an old manor from a distant relative and quickly discovered she was not the sole occupant. The large white cat she finds and appropriately dubs Creepy Cat possesses supernatural abilities. Despite how creepy he can be, Flora adores him, and he likewise loves her. This persists even when he interferes with her artwork. Flora may have her own unique traits as well.

Creepy Cat was published in Seven Seas Entertainment in four volumes.

7. Leo Cornelia (A Story About Treating a Female Knight, Who Has Never Been Treated as a Woman, as a Woman / How to Treat a Lady Knight Right / Imamade Ichido mo Onnaatsukai sareta Koto ga Nai Onna Kishi wo Onnaatsukai suru)

Leo Cornelia is one of the most powerful knights in the kingdom, and she has the incredible body to prove it. She finds her scars and ripped abs to be most unladylike. As such, she finds the thought that anyone could love her to be a joke. Fooly is a wizard, and he confesses his love to her. He points out the very “unladylike” traits to be her charming points. His praise made her flustered, and her maiden’s nature started to awaken.

A Story About Treating a Female Knight, Who Has Never Been Treated as a Woman, as a Woman was published in seven volumes in Suiyoubi no Sirius.

8. Makoto Yajiri (Kagekuri Kitan)

Hajime Tonoshita can see the monsters that lurk in the shadows. They’ve haunted him since childhood. He tries to ignore them, but they’re absolutely terrifying. He comes across a new type of shadow that wants him to take back a “Vajra tool.” This girl promises to help him face the monsters once he completes that task.

The Vajra tool was owned by his classmate Makoto Yajiri. In reality, she is a powerful shinobi with mystical shadow arts and the head of the Yajiri clan. She uses these arts to tear away her clothes to form an eye-catching ninja girl outfit. Hajime uses the tool to free the shadow, a veritable goddess named Sakuya. Or Tsukuyomi. Makoto immediately likes her and seems glad when Sakuya spanks her for disrespecting her “master’ Hajime. Nothing beats magical manga girls like ninjas.

Kagekuri Kitan was published in Dengeki Maoh in eight volumes.

9. Helvi (I Summoned the Devil to Grant Me a Wish, but I Married Her Instead Since She Was Adorable My New Devil Wife / Negai wo Kanaete Moraou to Akuma wo Shoukan Shitakedo, Kawaikattanode Kekkonshimashita Akuma no Niidzuma)

Helvi is a powerful demon typically summoned by those willing to trade something precious in return for their wishes being granted. This time was different, however. She was invoked by the orphaned Theo Asper, who dreamed of becoming powerful and self-sufficient enough to make his adopted grandparents proud of him.

Theo was struck by her beauty and immediately asked her to marry him. Helvi was understandably taken aback, and after confirming his true thoughts about her, she accepted. Apparently, no other human in their world finds sexy demon ladies sexy. Theo is the chosen one, the hero of that world.

10. Cthulhu (Call of Gyaru)

Yes, the Lovecraftian evil god is now Best Girl. Azathoth tasked Cthulhu with extracting a man’s white stuff so he could regain his strength, thus prompting the terrifying evil god to become a gyaru and hang out at a train station. A high school student named Noda runs into a car reserved for evil gods and gets played with by gyaru Cthulhu. Their next run-in sees her bring her sisters. Round Three surprisingly sees Cthulhu lose to Noda in a hot spring.

Call of Gyaru was published in three one-shot chapters in Shounen Ace Plus.

It’s unknown if gyaru Cthulhu teamed up with her grandmother Shub-Niggurath, one of the few good gods in the mythos, to get a man’s white stuff. She does, however, appear in a couple of adult manga in the J-List shop. Ane Narumono Zenshu Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 are now available. Elder sister waifu Shub-Niggurath is also Best Girl.
