Imada has to navigate his feelings for his high school love, her younger sister, and perhaps others. It’s a great setup for some group fun, but there’s no luck for us. He keeps running. Even the girls who love him are open to group fun, but Imada wants true love and upholds his professional pride.

The Girls of Transferred to the Gyaru Academy

Since the girls mostly act the same, your “best girl” will be whoever you think looks best. I like Nurse Emi Okuro because hot, lewd nurses are peak, and she swings both ways. Really, the most “plot” a reader will find is whatever is hidden behind a lewd bra. The girls, who all have Kuro (black) in their names, all act the same: they want to get busy. I think a lot of them are bi, which definitely appeals to yuri fans. Case in point: the school nurse and Imada’s first love from high school seem to have had a previous physical relationship.

Only a few waifus stand out, like Mariko Kuroi and her sister Anami, or the flat-chested girl Seiko Kuroko. These girls have feelings beyond “let me at Imada’s wang,” even if they want his wang as much as anyone else. The plot revolving around Imada and the sisters is compelling enough, but it’s buried under a ton of gyarus throwing themselves at Imada. This is good if you’re after a well-rounded and jiggly “plot.” If you’re after a well-rounded and story-focused plot, then there’s not much to stroke about.

The Art of Transferred to the Gyaru Academy

Gyaru lovers of the world rejoice, for this is the promised land. The girls here are all tanned and wear flashy clothes. The uniforms might be the same, but what the gyarus wear underneath varies and is never modest. The underwear ranges from thin, windowed types to beads, tape-on lingerie, and bandages. These horny gyarus show off their impressive range of underwear whenever possible.

Not to bury the lede, but depending on where you read, the fun bits might be covered up a bit more than usual. Souryu goes all in whenever the fun bits are shown, carefully drawing curves and lighting, and picking out the perfect panties and bra. Compared to general scenes, it’s impressive how stellar these girls look when drawn with just one hand. I’ll give a special mention to the flashback scenes that show gyaru styles from the previous generation.

A Timid Teacher’s Conclusion

Is Do You Like Big Girls? a harem series? I’m leaning more towards “no.” Yeah, a mass amount of girls are throwing themselves at Imada, but it’s clear that at least some of them have their own fellas on the side. We’re looking at maybe three girls who stick around after the deed is done. That, coupled with Imada not sealing the deal when every chapter shows these girls chasing him, proves it’s not a harme series. I give this tanned-girl series a 4/5 on the Megumi scale. Man up, Imada. Give these girls what they’re begging for.
