If you’re a fan of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and have seen part 4 of the series titled JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, you might remember the convenience store in Morioh called Owson. Japanese fans will recognize it as a parody of Lawson, a convenience store franchise chain in Japan.
Starting from August 22 to October 1, a Lawson convenience store in Roppongi, Tokyo, will be rebranded as Owson for this special collaboration. If you’re considering to visit the store, make sure to visit the special event Hirohiko Araki JoJo Exhibition: Ripples of Adventure which will be held from August 24 to October 1, 2018, at the The National Art Center, Tokyo, Japan.
During the collaboration, the Lawson will stock some exclusive merchandise and include:
Eight different acrylic stands based on based on the eight parts of the manga created by Araki so far. The stands will cost 3,000 yen each ($27.26 USD).
Mini towels with a case that will go for 2,500 yen ($22.72 USD) each.
An exclusive Owson T-shirt in M size will be up for sale at 2,500 yen ($22.72 USD).
