Anime Expo 2019 is already in full swing, and J-List has a lot of excitement on offer at our two booths. The 18+ booth (4429) is hosting the lovely and legendary Kaho Shibuya, but the all ages booth (4422) has its own special guest: illustrator and mangaka Satoshi Shiki.
Shiki-sensei has a body of work too long and illustrious to list exhaustively here, but he is best known for his work on mangas like Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, which was adapted into an anime series in the early 2000s, as well as Kamikaze, prequel manga Attack on Titan~Before the Fall~, and the Dororo manga remake.
Also a prolific illustrator, Shiki-sensei’s illustrations are published at Eshi100-Contemporary Japanese Illustration.
J-List is offering the incredible, exclusive opportunity at Anime Expo 2019, to commission Shiki-sensei for an original illustration of your choice. For as little as $150, you can have the illustrator of Osamu Tezuka’s Dororo draw for you.

I worked the all-ages booth opposite Shiki-sensei for the morning of July 4 and I couldn’t believe when I heard he was taking commissions live in LA and for such a low price. While arguably not as immediately obviously sexy as Kaho Shibuya, Shiki-sensei and J-List’s all ages booth are not to be missed.
