People love chicks with dicks. It’s just an unabashed fact. It’s one of the most popular fetishes you can find when it comes to the world of hentai manga, with entire doujin conventions dedicated to buying and selling works that specifically cater to that interest. Often times, this kind of fetish is referred to as futanari, and it involves a regular ol’ pretty woman who just so happens to be packing heat. The artist behind T.S. I Love You EX1 wants to make something perfectly clear, though; this book is not about futanari. Despite every page featuring figures with massive breasts, curvy hips, and huge cocks, The Amanoja9 insists that these are men. They’re “shemales”, they’re “newhalves”, they’re dudes with massive breasts and giant dicks, and they’re what this anthology is all about.
To be fair, this isn’t just a baseless distinction that The Amanoja9 is insisting on for the sake of making T.S. I Love You EX1 stand out or seem different. After seeing the way he draws his characters, it’s immediately obvious that these aren’t natural women at all. While the beauties on these pages have tall and feminine bodies with gorgeous hips, their breasts are cartoonishly unnatural. Perfectly sphere-shaped balloons are attached to each of these shemales chests, with meticulously drawn stretch marks around them that help illustrates the fact that they’re artificial implants. Most of the characters also rock full lips with heavy lipstick and an ample amount of eye makeup that further embraces the shemale aesthetic that The Amanoja9 is going for.
I’m no snob; I’m happy to admit that I love futanari works. Still, the cartoonish proportions of the characters in T.S. I Love You EX1 make it hard to get into things. It also doesn’t help that there’s a somewhat dated, old-school quality to the style of the artwork in this book that makes it a little hard to really get into the action. Characters often look a bit stiff, with rigid movements and very basic facial expressions that were a bit disappointing. There’s obviously a huge amount of faithfulness here on the part of The Amanoja9 to rendering shemales and big-breasted men as gorgeously as possible, but with this being one of his earliest works, the flatness of the art leaves a lot to be desired.
The length of the volume also leaves a lot to be desired. Usually, hentai anthologies and larger manga volumes like this would be just over 200 pages in length or even 250 pages. They’d often have close to a dozen chapters as well, or half as many chapters that run for way more pages. Unfortunately, T.S. I Love You EX1 does neither of these things. There are only five chapters in this volume. That kind of chapter count could be somewhat excusable if they all ran for 40 or so pages. Unfortunately, only one of them does. The result is a meager, 138-page volume that is over before it even begins. The variety of stories in the anthology is at least well done. Each chapter and main character felt fresh and unique, helping the small number of stories stand out from each other pretty well.
In My Black Diamond, a young man fresh off his shift as a company man decides to head to his regular haunt. It’s a strip club, but not just any regular strip club. The dancers here are all big, buxom shemales who aren’t afraid to get really raunchy on the stage. Our protagonist sees his favorite dark-skinned dancer performing, and happily tosses all his cash at her as she strokes her dick, gives him a taste of her body and even finishes off by ejaculating into a huge condom. Our enthusiastic hero pays extra to take the condom home with him and spends the night pleasuring himself with the milk of his favorite dancer. A month later, when he sees his favorite black dancer Lisa selling herself on the street, he jumps at the opportunity to spend an intimate night with her. Lisa recognizes him instantly, and the two spend an erotic evening together that signals the start of a loving, sex-frenzied relationship between the two.
Meanwhile, in Mama’s Milk, a young man is bored and decides to wander through a shady-looking residential district. He happens upon an equally shady looking bar named Banana Mama that promises sexy newhalfs inside. He’s got a thing for them, so when a buxom mama hostess comes outside and urges him to come inside, he happily obliges. He’s immediately thrown for a loop when he sees all of the mamas walking around with their private parts dangling free. The older hostess who dragged him into the bar has a thing for younger boys, and immediately begins teasing him. What starts as simple teasing, though, quickly escalates into full-blown sex in the middle of a bar full of buxom shemales.
T.S. I Love You EX1 is an interesting volume. It’s got an incredibly unique idea, with The Amanoja9 presenting a series of stories that embrace the very real culture of shemales and hermaphrodites that helped inspire the world of sexy futanari that so many have come to love. Unfortunately, the art just doesn’t quite do it all justice in terms of creating an erotic and pleasurable reading experience. It also doesn’t help that there just isn’t very much to read, due to the short length of the volume. This is a good pick to pick up if you appreciate underground hentai artists or more inventive anthologies but might not appeal to fans of more modern works. T.S.
