If you’re reading this just as it goes live, you might be partaking in a little yearly ritual aptly titled No Nut November. Every year, men around the globe pool their energy together and use all of their strength to fight off the temptations of sex, porn, and all other kinds of debauchery. Some men fail within a day. Others, within a week. We’re only a few days in so far, but if you’re still holding strong and plan to hold out until the end, I recommend you stop reading this review. The latest hentai manga by talented artist utu, titled Shameless, is bound to give you the biggest challenge you’ll face all month.
Over the course of 213 gorgeous pages and 13 intense chapters, Shameless delivers an anthology of original stories all about various types of women who have one thing in common: their insatiable sexual appetites. Some of the girls are shy and inexperienced bombshells who need a little push to unleash their inner raunchiness. Others are naughty and promiscuous from the get-go, throwing themselves onto the men in each story and having their way until their partner is wrung dry. There’s certainly a bigger volume of dominant and dirty girls in the anthology, but the few chapters that change the dynamics added much-needed variety to the proceedings that I appreciated a lot.
There’s also an impressive amount of variety to the scenarios and situations these horny cuties find themselves in. I never felt like I was seeing the same kind of story or setting twice in Shameless, which is impressive given the beefy 13-chapter length. There are a few stories set during high-school, but they focus on different areas like part-time jobs, naughty swim-club members, and even a sexy science club president obsessed with collecting sperm samples. Far more of the stories in the collection involve regular, working-class people. From 20-somethings coming home drunk to their busty sister or a depressed salaryman who runs into some busty beachside babes as he’s about to end it all, I was impressed by just how many unique scenarios and encounters artist utu was able to conjure up.
Of course, all the unique stories in the world don’t amount to much if the art doesn’t hold up. Thankfully, Shameless is an absolutely gorgeous volume of work. The art on each page is wonderfully expressive, with dynamic poses and sharp facial expressions that amplified every scene. Utu certainly has a preferred body type, and rarely deviates from it. Each woman he draws has a slender body with big breasts and a tight, peachy ass. There’s wonderful attention to detail put into their bodies that give them plump, realistic proportions that I was obsessed with. Some girls have slightly larger breasts or plumper thighs, but the variation here is limited. It’s in the designs of each character that they start to stick out more from each other.
A kogal with dark skin and vibrant eyes may have the same body as a quiet and reserved swimmer with a sharp face, but every part of the characters beyond the shape of their body helps make each of them unique. A small handful of girls blended together a bit thanks to the identical body types and a penchant for long, dark hair, but for the most part, there’s a great amount of variety to the women of each story. There’s a fair bit less variety put into the men of each story in Shameless, though. While their personalities tend to differ significantly, almost all of them rock pretty identical body types, hairstyles, and even faces.
When the action starts getting hot and heavy, utu doesn’t disappoint and manages to draw chapter after chapter of deliciously erotic sex scenes. The wonderful use of realistic anatomy that contrasts with the exaggerated faces, dicks, and breasts of each character are an incredible combination. Even in black and white, there’s an incredible use of tone and shading on the bodies of characters that adds absolutely jaw-dropping detail to the scenes. It almost feels like it’s required to read Shameless with this uncensored FAKKU release. There’s an astounding amount of delectable detail put into the sexual anatomy of each character, and those details added immensely to my enjoyment of the sex scenes.
That enjoyment was only amplified by the incredible full-color pages sprinkled throughout the book. There are two short chapters at the beginning of Shameless that are rendered entirely in color, followed by a third chapter that features a 4-page colored prologue before transitioning into black and white. Later in the book, a special 4-page epilogue chapter is drawn in delightful full-color as well. These pages were an absolute delight to read. The colors used for clothing and background detail in the first full-color chapter, “Angel Cowgirl,” were a bit too saturated. Everything else, though, was downright gorgeous. Soft rays of light and natural shadows spilled over the body of the bombshell nurse in this chapter. The 2nd full-color chapter, simply titled “Shameless,” had absolutely gorgeous color use on every inch of the 4 pages it ran for. Minor details like the slight difference in skin-tone between the guy and girl, or the transparent quality of the cum spilling out of the two of them made this one of the best parts of the entire anthology.
Shameless is an incredible collection of raunchy hentai stories featuring women who are, unsurprisingly, shameless about their lust. The art of utu is a delight to look at, despite each character having a pretty identical body type. Soft breasts, unique characters, and jaw-dropping sex scenes far outweigh the minor cons of this volume, though.
