There’s been a lot of talk about sexy girls dressing up in skin-tight suits. The Stellar Blade protagonist Eve and her friend Tachy have been on some minds and the subjects of many art pieces as of late. Spring is a season of renewal and positivity, and anime has plenty of waifus in skin-tight suits to admire.
1. Bayonetta (Bayonetta)
Before Eve was subject to journalist slander, Bayonetta and her suit made from magical hair strut her way to fame and success. This witchy woman is equal parts sexy and badass. Her suit leaves little to the imagination, and we’re all quite happy with her wardrobe choices. Bayonetta’s hair is the catalyst for her most powerful spells, so there are times when she struts around in even less fabric.
Hideki Kamiya created and PlatinumGames developed Bayonetta, with Mari Shimazaki designing her character. The first game was released on October 29th, 2009.
2. Asuka Langley Soryu (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
The brave and powerful pilots of Neon Genesis Evangelion all wear skin-tight suits. Even the men wear form-fitting suits. Asuka, our favorite fiery redhead, takes pride in her role as a mecha pilot. Asuka’s suit has several functions, the most important of which is looking great.
J-List has plenty of Evangelion girls in tight suits. The Asuka, Rei, Mari 1/8 KDcolle Figures Regular ver. from Neon Genesis Evangelion are now available for purchase.
Studio Gainax released this series from October 4th, 1995, to March 27th, 1996. However, there have been multiple additions to the series since then. There are many manga series and anime films that fans can enjoy.
3. Zero Two (DARLING in the FRANXX)
Like Asuka, Zero Two also wears a tight red suit while piloting her giant mech. However, her suit comes with handles for her partner to use. The proper use is to help control a mecha. There’s no rule that Zero Two can only wear her suit in the robot, though.
Studios, A-1 Pictures, Trigger, and CloverWorks worked together to present this iconic anime series. It ran from January 13th, 2018, to July 7th, 2018, in 24 episodes.
4. Mei Momozono, Yayoi Kuribayashi, and Hazuki Kakio (Mouse)
These fashionable thieves technically aren’t wearing full suits, but will we really complain? This is what they wear when they steal things. It’s the best possible wardrobe choice. Who should wear all black to sink into the shadows when they have such tantalizing figures?
Hakusensha published Mouse in the Young Animal magazine from 1999 to 2004.
5. Tatiana Wisla (Last Exile)
Tatiana is a waifu from an underrated anime series. She is the only child of “the proud and noble” Wisla house of Anatoray. Tatiana was hand-picked to join the Silvana crew as an ace vanship pilot. Her pilot suit may not be as skin-tight in the anime as in the piece of Key Art, but she still looks great. Tatiana is also a bit of a tsundere, making her a lead for Best Girl.
Koichi Chigira directed Last Exile as a project to celebrate Gonzo’s tenth anniversary. The original anime series ran from April 8th, 2003, to September 30th, 2003, in 26 episodes.
