Hello, and thanks for being an awesome J-List customer. For nearly 24 years, J-List has been here, providing fun products and being your “friend in Japan.” I just wanted to address some possible concerns related to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, which has been causing so much concern for people around the world, as related to J-List’s products.
- First, we’re taking your safety and health very seriously, and all packing staff are wearing masks and taking all proper steps for sanitization while they prepare your order for shipping.
- Most of the products we sell, including all snack and food items and nearly all our ero toys, are made here in Japan, in clean factories. In keeping with Japanese packaging practices, products are sealed two or even three times. Onaholes, for example, are encased inside an airtight bag inside a box that’s been shrinkwrapped.
- Some products, principally anime figures, are manufactured in China, again in clean factories, and are sealed inside secure packaging. All the products we currently have in stock have been manufactured many months ago and have been sitting on shelves during that time. There should be no health concerns with ordering any of these products, but if you have any, feel free to open a ticket to our staff and ask.
The situation we all find ourselves in is troubling, but by working together and supporting each other, and washing our hands frequently, we’ll get through it as quickly as we can.
