J-List is launching the Twelve Waifus of Christmas initiative. We’ll pay homage to twelve extraordinary waifus as we count the days until Christmas. What better way to celebrate the holiest of holidays than by worshipping truly divine anime girls? The first girls we pay tribute to are the fighters who rush into battle regardless of uniform: the lingerie warriors.
1. Momo Ayase (Dandadan)
Momo has had to fight some of the worst beings in her underwear. She awakened her full psychic abilities after the Serpo aliens got too grabby with her. Momo threw down using her hands and psychokinesis in her rather stylish lingerie. Aliens and demons alike should fear the psychic lingerie warrior. Maybe she’s more of a lingerie paladin, then.
2. Masane Amaha (Witchblade)
Masane is one of those lingerie warriors whose armor looks like lingerie. It definitely awakens a specific kink in more cultured viewers. Masane becomes an almost-nude demonic figure to fight monsters and protect her daughter. Violence and combat arouse her in this state, which makes her all the better. As “scarousing” as she looks, Masane is still a hero willing to sacrifice everything for her daughter. Maybe she’s more of a lingerie berserker then.
3. Satsuki Kiryuin (Kill la Kill)
Kill la Kill continues the trend of “the less you wear, the stronger you are.” Satsuki’s initial outfit is barely more than pantsu that doesn’t cover her glorious butt and a bra that barely covers her chest. She’s still one of the strongest characters in the series. The boots only add to her allure. Satsuki wears this to maintain order and discipline for students who wield superpowers. She looks refined and mighty even when she’s wearing so little. Satsuki is truly a lingerie warrior.
4. Aika Sumeragi (Agent Aika)
Don’t let her skirt fool you, though, because Aika is a lingerie warrior through and through. Her skirt hikes up 90% of the time, and she accesses her super form through a bustier that highlights her chest. Well, most, if not all, women in the series show off their lingerie in one way or another. It’s truly a magnificent world. Aika flaunts her stuff while retrieving items in the deep sea and fighting megalomaniacal villains. So, she’s more of a lingerie spy or thief.
5. The Swamp Witch (Queen’s Blade)
The ladies of Queen’s Blade further prove that “the less you wear, the stronger you are.” The women in the series wear little because they are strong enough to back up their wardrobe choices. The Swamp Witch usually wears a fiery face with embers for eyes. Her first in-person appearance is a buxom lady who has a bat-like covering for her bra and panties. She has the power to raise an army, so she can wear whatever she wants. The Swamp Witch is one dangerous lingerie warrior. Maybe she’s more of a lingerie lich.
6. Asuka (Senran Kagura)
The Senran Kagura ninja girls go all out in combat. Their clothes aren’t quite as durable as their weapons are, resulting in more than a few articles of clothing being torn to shreds before the battle has ended. Cultured fans can enjoy heated fight scenes while hoping for different kinds of heat. Asuka is one of the more competent ninja girls in the series. She enjoys fights while doing little to fend off grabby hands from other girls. Asuka is more a lingerie ninja than a lingerie warrior, but she fights in pantsu with the best of them.
