It’s that time of year again and I don’t mean Christmas! Today we’re rather euphoric to announce that we’re reaching out to all the incredible artists to show us what they’ve got with their own style of Megumi for our Megumi in My Style 2019 event!
Every year we have an annual event titled “Megumi in My Style” where artists from all around the world take their own creative take on our mascot, Megumi! Last year the event was a huge success, with more than 200 artists participating! You can see the top-ranking featured artists of 2018 here.
Artists will have until January 15, 2019, to submit their work in a high-resolution illustration in AI or PSD format and a .png version, so make sure you have all files needed before submitting! Winners will be announced at the beginning of February 2019. Users can submit their work here.
Participants can win some seriously outstanding prizes. The top ten artists will receive $200 USD each, along with a prominent place on our upcoming Megumi page, plus another five artists will each receive $100 in J-List store credit each.
All contestants are allowed to share their submissions on social media. If you decide to share it on social media, please include us in the tweet/post or use the hashtag #MIMS2019 so we can let our fans know about it by sharing it! We will also be sharing submissions on our Facebook and Twitter account during the contest period, with a link attributing the work to your preferred social media or artist profile.
