Who Is Kanna Seto, and Why Is She So Amazing?
Kanna Seto — Setokan to her fans — was born May 10, 2004, in Kanagawa Prefecture. Her tall and slender body made her good at sports, despite her hefty J-cup breasts. She debuted as a gravure swimsuit idol in 2024, making a big splash in several appearances in Weekly Post and FLASH. But when she announced that she’d be making her JAV debut on the S1 label, her social media accounts exploded.
It’s not hard to see why she immediately shot to the top of the JAV actress ranking on FANZA. Kanna’s natural charm and beauty, coupled with her athletic body, definitely appeal to her fans. I love that she’s such a happy girl, always smiling whether she’s getting sexy on camera or interacting with her fans. You can tell she’s loving her job.

Why this pool?
This is the famous “That Pool” (例のプール) AV studio. I’m sure all boys know what it is immediately. I’ve shot a FLASH gravure feature here, so it feels familiar to me. When I posted it on my Instagram story, guys flooded my DMs, and girls said, “What a cute pool!” This is a nice place because we can close the roof, which is required for a lot of ‘adult reasons.’ But there’s no air conditioning, so it becomes a sauna in the summer.
Can you actually swim?
Not really. I can float and do a flutter kick, but breaststroke defeats me, and the best I can do is a doggy paddle.
Why did you move from gravure to AV?
To me, it was less a special decision than a natural challenge. Swimwear and nudity are only a piece of cloth apart, and if people were asking for it, I just thought, why not. I’d expected some cruel comments and had braced myself so nothing would rattle me, so I’m relieved that so many people have been warm.

When Kanna Seto’s Family Found Out About Her JAV Career…
What did you expect AV actors to be like?
Honestly, I had my own image of them: short, chubby, slightly creepy older men. Then I met my first scene partner, and he was nothing like that. He was friendly and easy to talk to, which made me happy. Since he was a lot older than me and had been with hundreds of girls, he was very skilled when it came to the sex scenes.
What does your mother think of your career?
I joke that me becoming a JAV actress is an extension of my rebellious phase (laughs). My mom says she cried when she first found out, but she’s been really supportive of me. My dad has never commented on my work, but my mom has accompanied me to fan events.
Does Her Brother Watch?
So you have an older brother. Does he watch your videos?
My brother says he has never watched any of my work. Whenever he searches for some porn, she has to be ready to close his tab quickly if I show up in a video. He used to change my diapers when I was a baby, and now I’m performing in JAV. He has to be the only man in the world in this situation.
How did you tell your family?
My parents didn’t know, so my brother and I held a strategy meeting ahead of time to get our stories straight. I told my mom first, and my sister had already found out through the gravure work. At the New Year gathering, nobody mentioned it.
Kanna Seto’s Overly-Long Video Titles
Which work do you remember most?
My fourth work, the one from May 2025. We usually shoot a video over two days, but for scheduling reasons we had to get that one done all in one day. It was kind of exhilarating, having to perform so many scenes back to back, with all the staff running around making sure the next segment was ready to go.
Then there was the video with a ridiculously long title. It was, I Want to See the Strongest Heroine’s True Face and Real Sex! An Erotic, Raw 2-Night, 3-Day Sex Date Where We Seek Each Other Again and Again, Driven by Pure Sexual Desire. Who the hell comes up with titles like this?
You’ve done some VR content. Which position was the hardest to film?
Back (doggy) was the hardest. In VR, the actor has to lean way back under the camera, bracing with both hands so he doesn’t fall over, which means he can’t hold my hips. He can’t move his body at all, so I have to move my hips myself and vary the rhythm too, and it was really tough. Changing positions was the same. Normally the actor helps turn me around, but in VR I had to wriggle into place by myself, and I’m embarrassed about anyone seeing that. I may have said “yokkoisho” without realising, and the audio may cut out there, but my mouth clearly moves (laughs).
JAV Interview: Memorable Moments During JAV Filming
Tell us the story of the time you forgot a kiss?
I can’t memorize a script at all, so I ad-lib almost everything, keeping the basic order of events in my head. In one scene, I started to take the man’s pants off, but then I thought, “Oh no, I was supposed to kiss him for a few moments first!” I stopped and said, “Oh, shall we kiss? (laughs).”
Tell us about your first trip to Mandarake?
It was my first time at Mandarake, and I had a great time. I’d gotten a 30,000-yen tip from a member on the channel, who requested that I go buy a cosplay outfit. I picked up a Tifa cosplay, and I think I look great in it. Square Enix really needs to reach out to hire me for fan events. I am a fan of anime and manga, but I confess I stopped reading Frieren pretty early. I just couldn’t accept Hero Himmel dying right at the start of the story (laughs).
