There was a time when officially dubbed hentai was a rarity. Now OceanVeil announces English hentai dubs like they’re the latest TikTok trend. And The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring is the latest show in their catalog to get an English dub! All those distinguished and cultured otaku who wanted this fall’s yokai hentai heroines to speak the King’s English must be pleased. The English voice cast for The Lonely Snow Widow includes Jordan Woollen, Leah Booth, and Cottontail VA as Satoru Takahashi, Mifuyu Yukino, and Kaede Kiryuin. The people behind the English dub’s production include:
- Kevin Frane — ADR Director/Localization Supervision
- Amanda Parker — ADR Assistant Director
- Andrea Stewart — ADR Engineer
- Brian Rollins — Quality Assurance
- Shane Tay — Quality Assurance
- Steve Warky Nunez — Mastering and Mix Engineer
OceanVeil and AnimeFesta debuted the anime’s first episode on September 11. The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring’s English dub will coincide with the partial Japanese broadcast date of October 6. The anime’s plot will differ from the doujins. That makes Kashou happy, as the first episode displeased him. It needed way more yokai-specific lewdness. Hopefully, studio HōKIBOSHI ramps up the perviness. I need to see a hentai go balls deep into yokai-specific lewdness before I die.
It’s a very special time for us at J-List, because 30 years ago this week, we started the first anime and hentai shop selling to fans around the world. And we’ve been able to make it this far thanks to our wonderful customers. We’re celebrating with a huge 20% sale on all in-stock Japan products, through October 7th. Start browsing now!
The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring Deets
Words are a curious thing. Even when something’s said without malice — those words can still cause pain. And those words can quickly cause a myriad of issues. Life taught Satoru Takahashi that lesson the hard way. When his dad died, the young (and horny) bachelor inherited a yokai-only apartment. And with that apartment came a yuki-onna tenant named Mifuyu Yukino.
In Satoru’s eyes, Mifuyu is perfect! And how can she not be? Her skin is as fair as snow, and her eyes mirror the striking blue of glacial ice. It’s no wonder he loves her, but there’s a slight problem. Mifuyu is still attached to her deceased husband and behind on her rent. When Satoru suggests she move on and tries to help her, Mifuyu is offended by his words, and their relationship sours. But when Satoru finds a magical ring that binds all yokai, will his discovery help him win Mifuyu’s affection?
The Lonely Snow Widow adapts Puuzaki Puuna’s Hitozukiai ga Nigate na Mibōjin no Yuki Onna-san to Noroi no Yubiwa doujin. Irodori Comics licensed the doujin and translated it into English as The Shy Snow Woman and the Cursed Ring. You should check it out.
I don’t blame you. If you need more yokai and monster girl lewdness. Kashou would love to shag an anthropomorphic Van Meter Visitor. But he can. Life doesn’t love him. Thankfully, J-List stocks plenty of monster musume and demi-human doujins. That way you can supplement the horniness that The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring cause! I recommend the 272-page Monster Girls With a Need for Seed anthology or Kiraku Nekoi’s Interspecies Communication. Both titles are bound to sate your demi-human-inspired horniness. Ja ne!
