Before I Leave, May I Ask for One Final Thing?

A selfish and egotistical prince has decided to abandon his super-powered fiancée in favor of another. His new girl may be cute, but she’s a vindictive liar. His former girl decides to vent her frustrations in a very satisfying way. Her fists fly, bathing the festive ballroom in red. We’ll see the outcome of their annulled engagement when May I Ask for One Final Thing? (Saigo ni Hitotsu dake Onegai shitemo Yoroshi Desho ka) premieres in the fall of 2025.

Nana Otori and Satsuki released the original May I Ask for One Final Thing? light novel on August 6th, 2018. AlphaPolis has published five volumes in the Regina Books imprint.

The mistreated “villainess,” her former fiancé, and his current fiancée are as follows.

Scarlet El Vandimion — Asami Seto (Frill Shiranui from Oshi no Ko). A duke’s daughter gifted with incredible strength and magical talent.
Kyle von Paristan — Taito Ban (Ton from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End). The selfish second prince of Paristan.
Terenezza Hopkins — Ai Kakuma (Chino in Naruto Shippuden). A manipulative baron’s daughter with a cute aura.

Liden Films has maintained a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote May I Ask for One Final Thing?. You can find additional series information and the Key Visuals there.

Take Your New Fiancée, but May I Ask for One Final Thing?

Scarlet El Vandimion is the second prince’s poor, unfortunate fiancée. Circumstances have forced her to keep her true nature hidden. Scarlet is a tremendously gifted girl, excelling in academic, martial, and magical prowess. Kyle von Paristan is a selfish egotist who has treated Scarlet like a slave ever since they were children. She had no other choice but to endure his abuse since she was only a duke’s daughter and he was heir to the throne.

His insults came to a head when he annulled their engagement to marry another girl. Terenezza Hopkins’s cute face hides a manipulative soul. She accused Scarlet of harassing her to no end. Rather than defend herself, Scarlet agreed to the annulment to beat everyone in attendance with her armored gloves. She bears two titles: The Ice Queen and the Mad Dog Princess. Scarlet earns both in equal measure.
