A supernatural mystery set in a hotel with colorful characters begins! An amnesiac girl stands before Tasokare Hotel, where the customers must decide their fate. Do they want to live or die? That’s their choice. We’ll see what Neko decides when this series premieres sometime in January 2025.
SEEC published the original Tasokare Hotel mobile game on December 19th, 2017.
The hotel’s newest employee and two of her coworkers are as follows:
- Neko Tsukahara — Rika Momokawa (Clementine Burroughs from Masou Gakuen HxH). A high school student who lost her memories.
- Hotel Manager — Kanehira Yamamoto (Kinana from Fairy Tail). The fun and childish manager of the hotel. He is the longest-serving hotel employee.
- Menow — Natsue Sasamoto (Shirou Sazanami from Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture). She is the bar hostess and the second longest-serving hotel employee.
Studio PRA has maintained a home page, a TikTok page, a YouTube channel, and a Twitter (X) page to promote Tasokare Hotel. You can find more series information and the key visuals there. For some reason, the poster shoves the titular hotel and its fantastical characters into the background.
Tasokare Hotel Comforts the Undecided
The Tasokare Hotel stands at the crossroads between life and death. Even the time of day stands at twilight with the sun never moving in the sky. It serves as an in-between place for those caught between life and death. People who have yet to decide whether to move on to the afterlife or return to their world arrive at the hotel.
Neko Tsukahara found herself standing before the hotel with no idea how she came to be there. The hotel welcomed her and offered all the help she could need. Neko began to work at the hotel to help other customers while she tried to recover her memories. Something surely brought her to a place near death, and she must find out what happened before it’s too late.
