The wait is almost over. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level (Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita) Season 2 will premiere sometime in 2025. The tale of an overworked office lady getting a second chance to live a slow life will continue next year. There are plenty of good reasons to catch up on Season 1 until then. 2025 may seem a lifetime away, but studio Teddy has released a new trailer to tide us over.
Kisetsu Morita posted the original I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years novel to Shosetsuka ni Naro between June 23rd, 2016, and November 18th, 2021. SB Creative obtained the publishing rights and hired the artist Benio to adapt the series to a light novel format. This new run began on January 14th, 2017, in the GA Novel imprint. 24 volumes have been published.
Our favorite immortal witch and some of her cute friends are as follows:
- Azusa Aizawa — Aoi Yuki (Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). An overworked office lady who died and was reborn as an immortal witch in another world. She hunted slimes for 300 years and became godlike.
- Flatorte — Azumi Waki (Steyr AUG from Girls’ Frontline). A blue dragon who caused some trouble at a wedding. She joined Azusa after being bested in combat.
- Halkara — Sayaka Harada (Miyu Mifune from The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls). A busty elf apothecary who created a popular alcohol-based energy drink. She assumed that Beelzebub meant her harm and sought Azusa’s protection.
Studios Revoroot and Teddy have maintained a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years. You can find additional series information and the Key Visuals there.
I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level but I Still Want a Slow Life
Another unfortunate life ends and begins on a much happier note. Azusa Aizawa died at the young age of 27 and realized all too late that she had no life outside of work. A kind goddess took pity upon her and offered her anything she desired as she was sent off to be reborn. Azusa made the smart move and asked for immortality and a nice place to live on a plateau.
Azusa received all of this and the witch class, which enabled her to use magic. Her new home is near the charming Flatta village and its host to kind and generous people. The only monster type nearby is slimes. They go down easy and spawn magic stones that Azusa can sell for money. She decides to hunt 25 slimes a day to keep her income steady. Azusa does this for 300 years and unintentionally maxes her level, making her one of the most powerful beings in the world. Her slow life is interrupted when news gets out.
