Once again calendar season is here, and J-List has the first awesome calendar offerings in stock for you — and best of all, they’re in stock right now, with no need to preorder and wait! Let’s check out the first Japanese calendars in this post.
The First 2024 Japanese Calendars Are In Stock!
Everyone loves anime calendars, and we’ve gotten the first stock in for you this week, including Totoro, Pokemon and a really nice Cardcaptor Sakura that might just go up on my wall. These calendars from Japan are all extremely large, with large poster-sized sheets and glossy printing, and shipped to you in sturdy mailing tubes.
(More stock of calendars is coming. This is just the initial stock. If we sell out of stock of any Japanese calendar, we should be available to reorder through late November or early December.)
J-List customers love the traditional photo and art calendars we sell, and we posted this year’s first stock, including Japan Night Scene (photos of Japanese cities at night), views of Mt. Fuji, nature in Japan through the four seasons, plus the always-popular Lucky Cat calendar.
Every year Studio Ghibli makes several calendars for fans to own and collect, including “diorama” desktop calendars. These are super cool because you can use the included calendar pages all year long, and then put photos of your loved ones inside when the year is done. This year’s offerings show us two Totoro creatures looking through a hole in the bottom of the house (from a scene in the film) and Kiki sitting in front of the bakery window.
The 2024 Studio Ghibli Calendar
But one calendar we always get excited about is the huge Studio Ghibli calendar, which features giant, flat pages with different scenes from your favorite animated films. The pages are huge — 42×30 cm or 24×17 inches — and each features a huge originally-created image. Mrs. J-List likes that she can write in the boxes so it’s very useful as a calendar, too.
