How much ecchi fanservice can My Tiny Senpai cram into one episode? I don’t know, but it tried to find out. The anime showed Shiori in three styles of bathing suits, and the allegedly pure office lady chose the smallest one! The leading characters, Shiori and Shinozaki, made up for lost time here after the last two episodes relied on side characters to drive the comedy and fanservice. But was it too much? For one hot springs inn trip, we had an anime season’s pool episode, the season’s spa episode, and a season’s overnight traditional inn episode! Three in one! Plus, how many hentai tags did My Tiny Senpai fill out? This show loves its audience and its secondary market merchants.
The episode even included a scene for the gushy romance fans. We know that Shinozaki is head-over-heels in love with his Senpai but would never act on his feelings unless he receives a signal from Shiori. Shiori’s barriers need to crumble before she gives him the green light. The one instance of Shiori thinking about Shinozaki as more than her kouhai is turning his plushie stand-in around when she dresses. But now we have another one! After Shinozaki re-tied her bikini top, Shiori wished for something more from Shinozaki than an apology. Her pout and dismissal felt like a girlfriend mad at her boyfriend. He should know why she’s miffed even when she can’t articulate it! I think she wanted an expression of gratitude for pressing her breasts against his crotch instead of asking for forgiveness. That’s the polite thing to do after public pool paizuri.

Oh, right. Chinatsu is the fujoshi otaku in My Tiny Senpai. An ikemen gacha card that Chinatsu scored in her mobile game inspired a desire to visit a hot spring inn.
