February 22 is Cat Day in Japan because 2/22 can be read as nyan nyan nyan in Japanese, while February 2 is Meat Day because the date can be read as niku which means meat. Because the number 11 looks like いい ii, pronounced like the letter E and meaning “good,” there are a lot of special days in the month of November, including #いいおっぱいの日 Good Boobs Day on November 8th, or #いい夫婦の日 Good Married Couples Day on November 22, an excuse for couples to plan a romantic dinner together. And since November 30 is the final day of the month, naturally it’s become known as #いいお尻の日 or Good Butt Day, a day for celebrating great anime butts!
