Last year we started offering DHL has a second shipping option to the U.S. and Canada, and we’ve been super happy with the results, as customers can get their packages more quickly, usually in 2-3 days. Not only does the DHL shipping offer cool features like the ability to track where your package is exactly via a phone app or schedule a delivery time, but DHL is often cheaper than EMS, depending on what you’re ordering. Smaller and denser items (like our signature ero products), for example, are perfect for DHL shipping, while large figures can be more expensive, due to the way shipping is calculated by package size instead of weight.
Unfortunately we only ship DHL to the U.S. and Canada currently. We were in the middle of getting registered for shipping to the E.U. when the crisis hit. We plan to offer DHL to more countries when we’re able to.
While the hardest-hit countries have stopped accepting packages from outside (the complete list is here), we’re still shipping airmail and EMS to the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany and several other countries. J-List is also shipping products out of our San Diego office, since we have only one employee working safely on-site, so you can order physical copies of visual novels if you need any to help you get through the crisis.
