Why Do You Watch Anime? Let’s Ask J-List Customers!

All of us got interested in anime for different reasons. Some of us might have been drawn in by the amazing mecha, or the unique and endearing characters. Others might have been attracted to the dramatic stories the best anime offers us, which are unlike anything else available to fans, especially in an animated medium.

But if we’re being honest, some of us were attracted by anime because it had the freedom to show us “big anime titties” if we wanted to see those. Or let us enjoy a quick peek at a girl’s panties. Or put two characters we’re invested in as fans into a clever sexual situation and see what will happen. These are perfectly valid reasons to watch anime!

Anime is the best form of visual entertainment. Sadly, it’s also the worst at the same time. But you have so much to choose from, so no matter what you’re into, you’ll definitely find several anime tailored to your tastes.

I watch anime for the plot, of course. What did you think?

I don’t watch anime for the big boobies. I watch it for romance, adventure, and escapism…and some delicious feet.

This is why I watch anime!

The story can be nice, even if it is the same rehashed cliche it is enjoyable. Just like reading books over and over again because it’s comfortable.

“Titties”? What are these “titties” you are talking about?

Okay, hear me out.

It’s the boobs, but also the creativity of the stories/characters (if you look hard enough).

I will tell you why I started. Back in the early ’90s, I was desperate for new sci-fi stuff to watch. I found fantastic worlds and machines in anime, drawn at a level I’d never seen before. I later watched various anime because it was anime not just because it was sci-fi. Later, I bonded with my wife over our shared love of anime and manga. After 20 years of marriage, we watch anime together over dinner almost daily.

Because it opens up an entire multiverse of possibilities, opportunities, and experiences that aren’t possible in the real world that you can spectate and enjoy.

Anime is the peak of entertainment OVERALL, but let’s not pretend like the waifus aren’t the best part.

I like the stories of adventure and friendship.

This is why I watch anime. Don’t @ me.

It was the panty shots for me.

At first, yeah, but in the end, my tastes evolved into a more… “compact” form.
