We all get into anime for many different reasons. Bold stories with dramatic characters and grown-up stories. Awesome science-fiction worlds with transforming robots. Stories of girls who want to fulfill their dream of becoming an idol. Journies to distant isekai worlds where we can experience adventures through the experiences of the characters. And of course, sometimes we get into anime because of the awesome “plot” and “backstory.” I asked J-List’s Twitter followers-of-culture which they preferred, anime boobs or butts, and this is what we came up with!
“I like both but like boobs more, IRL and anime, because of pillows.”
“I like pettanko both in 2D and 3D.”
“I prefer these.”
“We love both because humans like to make babies. Anime just lets us exaggerate features.”
“Butts. I just don’t see the appeal of boobs. Especially large boobs.”

For myself, I’d have to say that I’m a fan of butts more than boobs, because of the interesting stuff that’s located down there. If boobs are the Tokyo/Yokohama region of Japan — a fun place to visit, though there’s not that much to do in the end — the butt might be analogous to Japan’s Kansai region, home to Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe. There’s generally a lot more to do down there, and you could stay down for a long time and not run out of fun activities.
