While I enjoy running J-List, I am also the “top otaku” at JAST USA and take a hands-on approach to releasing many of their titles. This one is a personal favorite since I’ve been working on it for many hours.
So Many Sexy Roommates
Sweet Home is a fun, sex-centric visual novel in which you play a Japanese youth named Ryuichi who’s bummed because his apartment burned down. Facing homelessness, he’s forced to move back into his stepmother’s home. Little does he know that things have changed: his stepmother has rented the rooms of their home to women. Hot lusty women. You get the idea, I’m sure.
Like the recent release Nympho Sensei Ryoko (see digital download or physical package), this game’s character art is by master hentai artist Taichi Kiriyama, who is expert at creating beautifully erotic female characters. It’s a fun nukige style game that’s all about the delicious sexual interactions and less about a delicate and flowery story. That said, Code Pink and Kiriyama-sensei never let us down in the story department, and you’ll love interacting with all the girls of Sweet Home throughout the game’s satisfying 15 endings.
Let’s meet the characters…
Ryuichi
Ryuichi’s having a hard time keeping focused on his university studies. Not because he doesn’t try hard, but because his sexy stepmother is so distracting. He decides to put his academics first and moves out to live on his own. Just as he’s beginning to enjoy his newfound freedom, he loses everything in an apartment fire. With nothing but the clothes on his back, he reluctantly finds himself moving back to his old house, only to find himself surrounded by unbelievably hot girls who live there now.
Chinatsu Furuhashi
Chinatsu is an upperclassman attending the same university as Ryuichi, allowing her to make fun of him. She has a slightly boyish personality, and has a no problem with making aggressive moves on Ryuichi. Height: 172cm, Bust-Waist-Hips: 89-59-90cm, voiced by Shirai Ayano.
Manami Amagi
Manami is an airheaded girl who works as a waitress at a nearby restaurant. Usually passive, she has taken a liking to Ryuichi and isn’t afraid to show it. She has a tendency to go to bed with any man who is nice to her. Despite looking harmless, she is very well trained in judo since her family runs a dojo. Height: 169cm, Bust-Waist-Hips: 99-62-95cm, voiced by Hiromori Nazuna.
Kaede Soga
Kaede is an instructor in the university Ryuichi is attending. While she has the appearance of a reliable person, she is clumsy and not too attentive to her surroundings. Despite this, her serious personality won’t allow her to admit defeat. A science-minded girl, she’s interested in UFOs. Height: 158cm, Bust-Waist-Hips: 84-57-86cm, voiced by Mirau.
Risa Tomosato
Risa is the brash, loud-mouthed younger half-sister of Kyoko, technically making her Ryuichi’s aunt. She lives by herself nearby, so she enjoys coming by to visit and save money on food. She is a classic tsundere who won’t admit her feelings for Ryuichi, though she’s concerned when she hears he’s moving in with the other girls. She’s half Japanese and half American and concerned about the smallness of her breasts. Height: 155cm, Bust-Waist-Hips: 74-54-82cm, voiced by Kusayanagi Junko.
Kyoko Moroboshi
Kyoko is the loving and caring stepmother of Ryuichi, but is also the reason why Ryuichi moved out in the first place. A heavy sleepwalker who finds herself in Ryuichi’s bed almost every night ever since the passing of her husband, which drives poor Ryuichi wild. Can he resist the urge to taste his hot stepmom? Height: 163cm, Bust-Waist-Hips: 104-65-97cm, voiced by Imuraya Honoka.
