Who Is Umi Yatsugake?
Umi got her start in a pretty unexpected way. She was running a small YouTube channel called “Umi no Daibouken” (Umi’s Adventures) when Prestige came knocking and offered her an exclusive debut in November 2020. She was just 20 years old, and her girl-next-door charm immediately clicked with fans, both inside Japan and with J-List.
(Her name is a bit hard to pronounce. Umi Yatsugake is OO-mi yah-tsu-gah-keh.)

Why Fans Love a Flat-Chested JAV Star
Surprisingly, how does a washboard like Umi-chan become such a famous star in an industry dominated by top names like Yu Tano, Ria Yamate, and Rara Anzai (aka RION)? Apparently it’s a feature, not a bug.
She actually kept her cup size a secret early in her career because she was self-conscious about it. But after realizing just how many fans specifically loved her petite figure — and after a hair and makeup staffer told her “you’re great because you’re small” — she publicly embraced her A-cup status in a 2021 Weekly Playboy interview. This made her fans love her even more.
There’s a whole community of “chippai” (flat chest) enthusiasts in Japan, and Umi has become something of their queen. In a sea of kyonyu megastars, she offers something different: a slender, beautifully proportioned body with an amazing energy. This makes her a lot more relatable to many JAV fans, who wouldn’t know what to do if an L-cup girl like Momoka Kagura showed up on their doorstep.
Because when you hug a flat-chested girl, you’re close to her heart.
