Peter-senpai, Your Friend in Japan, reviewed Nukitashi the Animation when it aired, calling it the most “cultured” ecchi anime ever. The story, based on the visual novels (which you can find at JAST USA), follows a boy and his sister who start a vanilla sex rebel group on an island that mandates indiscriminate perverted sex. The only restrictions are a high school age limit and no monogamy. The setting looks like the world of Mizuryu Land had spread from an amusement park to an entire resort island. Studio Passione was the perfect animation studio to draw lovingly sexy bodies engaged in rhythmic deviant behavior. And now you can own the Blu-ray box set to watch them again!

Over the summer, we saw several tiers of censorship. The least-censored hilariously blocked genitalia with the face of a duck mascot. Also, dirty words for sexual body parts had bleeps and asterisks in the subtitles. The Blu-rays follow the ducking mascot system and allow all the sex words. More power to you if you can push your focus past the googly eyes of a cartoon duck face watching you like Ceiling Cat.

Spoiler: Nukitashi’s hero had sex. Only twice, despite a bunch of sexy girls becoming his friends and joining his squad of vanilla sex guerrilla fighters. You should play the games if you want to pursue each girl’s route to their climax scenes, but the Blu-ray extras let anime viewers sample the other girls’ sexual delights. Hinami, the older girl who looks too young, and Misaki, the voluptuous one who thinks she’s fat, are first up to take in Tachibana’s Dick of Destiny.
