I’ll never forget the time a pair of pink shimapan was placed on my desk by the J-List ero toy buyer. It had a picture of Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, and promoted the idea that these panties were the ones actually worn by the fictional 2D character. This was the beginning of a long trend of Japanese companies making both parody and official hentai products that we could touch and feel, adding a whole new dimension to what it meant to be a degenerate anime fan.
