Choco-mintians rejoice! Hana Uzaki-chan bounces onto our screens again on October 1st. The producers have not yet announced the streaming services and schedules, but those details will come as the season start for Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! ω comes closer. Check out the preview!
It appears that Sakurai will have more dealings with the Uzaki family. Ami will continue to interfere with Sakurai and Uzaki-chan’s relationship. She’ll also butt heads with her father about the direction of the café!
I can’t wait to see Uzaki-chan in a maid uniform! The Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! website and Twitter account have teased other fun settings. There’s a tie-in to a hot springs resort and a romantic Christmas Eve date!
The voice-acting cast and the animation studio, ENGI, from the first season of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! remain the same. Let’s meet the Uzaki and the Sakurai families!
- Yanagi Uzaki (voiced by newcomer Seina Katou) is Hana’s younger sister. The fourteen-year-old junior high student has bangs covering her eyes and a quiet speaking voice. She’s also a gamer.
- Fujio Uzaki (voiced by Hideo Ishikawa, Genjurou Kazanari from Symphogear, and Itachi Uchiha from Naruto) is a muscle-bound, overprotective father. He misses his children as they become more independent in high school and college.
- Kiri Uzaki (voiced by Yuuko Sanpei, Boruto Uzumaki from Boruto) is Hana’s younger seventeen-year-old brother. He’s on the short side and on his high school’s swim team. He’s going through a rebellious streak, which makes his father sad.
- Haruko Sakurai (voiced by Miki Itou, Android 18 from Dragon Ball, and Taiga Fujimura from the Fate Series) is Shinichi Sakurai’s mother. She’s a judo master and the scariest member of the Sakurai family. She misses her son, who never comes home from college.
- Shiro Sakurai (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita, Rudeus Greyrat from Mushoku Tensei, and Kaede Manyuda from Kakegurui) is Sakurai’s father. He inherited the family judo dojo from his wife’s family, but he prefers being lazy with his son.
