The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King have defeated their months-long delay! The fantasy rom-com is coming to Crunchyroll on April 9. And to hype its release, the anime’s production team has released a new trailer.
Hime Kishi wa Barbaroi no Yome was originally supposed to premiere last October. But the animation team postponed its release to increase the anime’s quality.

The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King Production Details and Synopsis
After the barbarians defeated and captured the West’s strongest knight, Serafina de Lavillant, she expected the worst. Is her future a short, painful one, or is it endless days of torture? What horror will the barbarians who captured inflict on her bishoujo body? Serafina, so terrified of what may come, begs for a quick death when her enemy’s king visits her cell. But to her surprise, the only thing her captors have in mind for her is marriage!
Noriaki Kotoba writes and illustrates The Warrior Princess and the Barbarian King manga. Sayumi Suzuhiro (Nijika in Bocchi the Rock) and Satoshi Inomata (Koutarou in Catch Me at the Ballpark!) will voice the anime’s main duo — Serafina and King Veor.

They will release the eleventh volume next week. Seven Seas Entertainment releases the English version of the manga as The Barbarian’s Bride.
