The harem visual novel Hamidashi Creative (Hamikuri) is finally getting an anime adaptation. However, there’s a bit of a twist: no harem protagonist. The anime series will follow a different story that sees the cute student council members as their routes’ own heroines. We’ll see what comes of the council when the series premieres on October 4th, 2024.
Madosoft released the original Hamidashi Creative visual novel on September 25th, 2020.
- Shio Kamakura — Miki Horiba (Schoolgirl from BanG Dream!). A former student council president who uses her experiences as research for her novels.
- Ameri Ryukan — Rie Okamoto (Idol from Kumamiko — Girl meets Bear). A popular girl who also performs as a fashion model.
- Hiyori Izumi — Megumi Toda (Ayumu Maihama from IDOLM@STER Million Live!). The vice president of the student council and a famous voice actress.
Studio Hayabusa Film has maintained a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote Hamidashi Creative. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals there. The student council gathers to get work done with a cute smile.
The Student Council of Hamidashi Creative Goes to Work
This harem anime does not have the harem protagonist from the source material to call the shots. How will that play out?
The five cute girls of the student council must overcome their different silly habits to get work done. They apparently don’t even like to come to school. With no man to fawn over, these girls must complete their individual story arcs.
