The noble Grail family has earned fame for its honesty. Many would take advantage of their honesty and leave them behind. Lies and slander would have seen the young Grail daughter fall from grace until a spirit descended and exacted justice. We’ll see what becomes of this new femme fatale duo when The Holy Grail of Eris (Eris no Seihai) premieres sometime in January 2026.
Kujira Tokiwa and Yuunagi released the original The Holy Grail of Eris light novel between November 14th, 2019, and November 7th, 2024. Drecom Media has since published all five volumes in the DRE Novels imprint.
The honest noblewoman, her new dishonest spirit guardian, and a fallen saintess are as follows:
- Constance Grail — Kana Ichinose (Suletta Mercury from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). An honest girl from a noble house, in whom an old conspiracy swept her up.
- Scarlett Castiel — Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika Ijichi from Bocchi the Rock!). A haughty noblewoman framed for attempted murder. She now exists as a spirit who seeks vengeance.
- Lily Orlamunde — M.A.O (Lena Tally from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? II). Scarlett’s former associate, known for her charitable spirit, is more of a clever vixen than anything.

The Holy Grail of Eris and the Pursuit of Revenge
Constance Grail was ready to marry the young baron, Neil. He was handsome, capable, and above all, kind. However, Constance’s world came crumbling down when she caught him in the arms of another woman, Paula. This conniving woman framed Constance for theft in the middle of a night party. Constance begged for help, and the spirit of an infamous villainess arrived and took control of her body.
Unknown parties framed Scarlett Castiel for attempted murder, and authorities beheaded her ten years ago. Her desire for the truth and revenge kept her in the world of the living. Scarlett finds a kindred soul in Constance and steps in to expose Paula’s deception. Constance, cleared of all charges, had her engagement annulled. Her work comes at a price: Constance must help Scarlett uncover the truth of her execution ten years ago.
