A brave warrior princess has led the charge against her kingdom’s enemies for years. She honed her skills and magical abilities to smite her enemies and protect her homeland. Her campaign ended when she discovered her prince’s illicit activities. The prince brands the battle maiden as a traitor and forces her to flee. When she faces her demise, time rewinds to the night she first meets the prince. We’ll see how she changes her future when The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor premieres on October 9th, 2024.
Sarasa Nagase and Mitsuya Fuji released the original The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor light novel on March 1st, 2020. Kadokawa Shoten has since published six volumes and one short story collection in the Kadokawa Beans Bunko imprint.
The titular do-over damsel, the titular Dragon Emperor, and the emperor’s half sister are as follows:
- Jill Cervel — Shu Uchida (Mia Taylor from Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club). A princess hailed as the Lady Goddess of War for her success in battle.
- Hadis Teos Rave — Kikunosuke Toya (Denji from Chainsaw Man). The Dragon Emperor from the Rave Empire who fought against Jill in the future. He’s very kind and generous in the present.
- Elincia — Kaori Nazuka (Uta from One Piece). Hadis’s half sister and the first princess of the Rave Empire.

The Do-Over Damsel Strikes Back
A princess hailed as the Lady Goddess of War and a savior of her people is on the run from her former comrades. Jill Cervel was once engaged to Prince Gerard de Kleitos but soured after she saw him in illicit activities with his sister. She realized he never cared about her and only sought to use her as a pawn. Jill met her end when Gerard pierced her with a divine staff. However, time continued to tick away.
Jill awakens on the anniversary night she first met Gerard six years ago. She retains her memories, skills, and magical capacity from her time as the revered goddess of war. Jill aims to avoid the specific future of becoming Gerard’s weapon. She quickly sidesteps him and grabs the nearest hand to declare that she has already accepted his hand in marriage. The Dragon Emperor from the Rave Empire, Hadis Teos Rave, happily accepts her proposal. This sight of a smiling man stuns Jill. The Hadis she remembers is a savage and mad ruler who slaughtered people by the score. This Hadis is a kind and silly man who enjoys cooking. Jill hopes to avoid her terrible fate and help Hadis avoid his blood-soaked future.
