The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses (Megami no Café Terrace) Season 2 will premiere on July 4th. We cultured American otaku can celebrate our great nation’s independence with cute and sexy maids. Hayato and his divine maids are back, and so are their troubles. The new trailer gives us a hint of what form their new problem takes.
The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses first opened its doors as a manga series written and illustrated by Koji Seo. Kodansha began serialization on February 17th, 2021 as part of their Weekly Shonen Magazine, and there are currently fifteen volumes that fans can read.
Our harem protagonist/café owner and a couple of his goddesses are as follows:
- Hayato Kasukabe — Masaaki Mizunaka (Grabell Zafin Asura from Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation). Hayato is the new owner of Café Terrace Familia.
- Ouka Makuzawa — Ruriko Aoki (Eclair Seaetto from The Rising of the Shield Hero). Ouka is a tsundere girl who studies fashion.
- Riho Tsukishima — Aya Yamane (Secelia Dote in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). Riho is a former actress and the granddaughter of a famous Showa-era actress.

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Have Some Competition
The Familia Café Terrace is a popular spot to have good meals while being served by the goddess-level maids. It’s been that way for years, ever since Sachiko Kasukabe worked there as a teenager. Sachiko passed away at a ripe old age and passed the café down to her grandson Hayato. He initially planned to shut it down and replace it with a parking lot. However, he met the employees and began to work with them to keep the place open. His grandmother treated them all as family, and he became just as close to them.
Sachiko’s past has since come back to haunt the café. Shigehisa Fuwa held a grudge against the Kasukabe family since the old days when his animosity against Sachiko first formed. He constructed the Café Restaurant Family close to the Familia Café Terrace. Shigehisa’s plan is to drive them out of business with a similar business format, which includes employing goddess-level maids to serve customers.
