The announcement was made at AnimeJapan 2019, that Yako Gureishi’s Somali and the Forest Spirit (Somali to Mori no Kamisama) is receiving an anime adaptation that slated to air this Fall. The official website and Twitter was launched and had revealed the cast member and staff member for the animated series.
The staff consists of:
- Director: Kenji Yasuda (Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen)
- Character Design: Ikuko Itou (The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, Princess Tutu)
- Studio: Satelight
