The official website for the free-to-play digital collectible card video game developed and published by Cygames Shadowverse has announced that a TV anime series has been greenlit.
The staff was also revealed:

- Character Design: Hiroki Harada (Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Zexal)
- Sub Character Design: Yasunari Nitta (Maburaho)
- Music: Yoshihiro Ike (Tiger & Bunny)
- Studio: Zexcs (Sukitte Ii na yo., Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to The Animation, Aku no Hana)
